I have been a customer at DeSoto Coins for over a decade and I have always been happy with the service and the prices. Recently Gene Yotka purchased the shop and I am ecstatic to see that he continues the great service and reasonable prices that I have always enjoyed!!!

I trust this business and the owners with all my clients.

Generally I buy online but I walked in to see what they had to offer. Prices are substantially better than even the cheapest online dealers. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Haven't tried to sell to them so I don't know about their buy back program. Will definitely be doing business with them from now on.

I've been collecting coins from some of best shops in Metro Detroit from 1974 and now even in retirement. I had the pleasure of meeting the new owner of DeSoto Coin in West Bradenton. This store still has the 70's coin shop genre but now they really raised the bar in Rare US collectable/investment inventory. They are always involved the most interesting collections at auctions and at the same time helping out customers with their daily life questions on values of items that might have worth. I haven't found a shop yet that could deliver on price or products.

I dealt with Bill and Dan and they were great. I frequented their shop for approximately 18 years. Sorry that they sold! A while back I traded in a coin and the new owner, he asked me, which I thought was quite odd ~ “is this price OK with you?” If the owner has to ask me if the price is ok, I know that I am not getting the price I should be getting! I found a dealer In Palmetto, it’s a family owned. When I call there for a price and called De Soto coin shop and I’m getting two different figures, the shop in Palmetto is a far better deal! Going to stick with Palmetto.
