320 Coins, LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the US Coin Shows website at uscoinshows.com (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website.
1. Information We Collect
Information You Provide
- Account Information — When you register, we collect your email address and display name.
- Profile Information — Dealers and show operators may provide business names, addresses, phone numbers, website URLs, and descriptions.
- User Content — Show listings, dealer profiles, attendance records, and calendar selections you create on the platform.
Information Collected Automatically
- Log Data — IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages visited, and timestamps.
- Cookies — Session cookies for authentication. See our Cookie Policy for details.
- Cloudflare Analytics — We use Cloudflare's privacy-focused analytics, which do not use client-side tracking or cookies for analytics purposes.
- Advertising & Identity Identifiers — To support advertising, we and our partners set and read cookies and similar identifiers, including privacy-preserving "user ID" tokens (for example ID5 and Prebid SharedID) and, for signed-in users, an irreversibly hashed (SHA-256) form of your email. See Information Sharing & Interest-Based Advertising below.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
- Send transactional emails (magic link authentication, show reminders, account notifications)
- Send marketing emails and newsletters about coin shows, dealers, and platform updates (you may opt out at any time)
- Display public dealer profiles and show listings as intended by their creators
- Moderate content and prevent abuse
- Improve the Service and develop new features
- Comply with legal obligations
3. Information Sharing & Interest-Based Advertising
We share information with the categories of recipients below.
- Service Providers — Cloudflare (hosting, CDN, security) and Resend (transactional and marketing email delivery). These providers process data on our behalf under contractual obligations.
- Advertising & Identity Partners — The Service is supported by advertising. We use Prebid.js header bidding to run programmatic ad auctions. As part of this, we and our advertising-technology partners collect and share online identifiers and context — including cookie/device identifiers, the privacy-preserving "user ID" tokens described above (such as ID5, Prebid SharedID, and, for signed-in users, a hashed form of your email used to derive tokens like The Trade Desk's UID2), your IP address, approximate location, device type, and the pages you view — with supply-side platforms, ad exchanges, and bidders (for example, Xandr / Microsoft Advertising and demand resellers) and identity providers (ID5, UID2). These partners use this information to select, deliver, and measure ads and may combine it with data they already hold. We do not share your name, your email address in unhashed form, or any payment information with these advertising partners.
- Public Profiles — Dealer and show-operator profiles are publicly visible by design. Business contact information you choose to publish (phone, email, website) is displayed publicly.
- Legal Requirements — We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental request.
Under California and other US state privacy laws, our sharing of identifiers with advertising partners for targeted advertising may be treated as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell personal information for money, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone we know to be under 16. You can opt out of this advertising-related sharing at any time — see Your US State Privacy Rights.
Your choices: use the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in our site footer to opt out, or enable Global Privacy Control (GPC) in your browser — we honor the GPC signal automatically. You can also opt out of interest-based ads from many participating companies through the DAA and NAI opt-out tools.
4. Data Retention
We retain account data for as long as your account is active. Show and dealer data is retained indefinitely for the directory's public benefit, but you may request deletion. Audit logs are retained for 2 years. Session data expires after 7 days.
5. Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, Cloudflare WAF protection, HttpOnly session cookies, and rate limiting. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Your Rights
You may:
- Access, update, or delete your account information at any time through your dashboard
- Request a copy of your personal data
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Opt out of marketing emails and newsletters via the unsubscribe link in each email
- Opt out of non-essential emails
7. Your US State Privacy Rights
Depending on your state of residence — including California (CCPA/CPRA) and states such as Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, and others with comprehensive privacy laws — you may have the right to: (a) know and access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected; (b) request deletion or correction of your personal information; (c) opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information and of targeted (interest-based) advertising; and (d) not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising these rights.
To opt out of sale/sharing & targeted advertising: click "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" in the footer of any page, or enable Global Privacy Control (GPC) in your browser — we treat a GPC signal as a valid opt-out automatically. Your preference is stored on your device, so you may need to repeat it on other browsers or devices, or if you clear cookies. When you opt out, we send a privacy signal (US Privacy / Global Privacy Platform string) instructing our advertising partners not to sell or share your information.
To exercise access, deletion, or correction rights, contact us at privacy@uscoinshows.com. We will verify your request and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law, and you may use an authorized agent where permitted. We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration, and we do not sell or share the personal information of consumers we know to be under 16 years of age.
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will take steps to delete it promptly.
9. Third-Party Links
The Service may contain links to third-party websites (dealer websites, show websites, grading services). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these external sites.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
