If I could give 0 stars I would..walked in with some rare coins to get appraised. Stood there for 5 minutes another customer walked in and the staff immediately helped them. Not a single employee said anything to myself or my daughter in the 10 minutes we were there. Go somewhere else if you are looking for customer service.

i wish i could give more stars but i cannot after what i had to go through the last 2 days. I had dropped off my dad’s coins for them to search through to sell, they bought it i thought it was a fair price it was more than i was expecting. he has many more coins and a few days later i went and i specifically asked them if their interested in pennies. the gentlemen gave me a list of the year of pennie’s he would buy so i went home and sorted out the coins (my dad had labeled them but there is so many so took us about an hour to go through the rolls and make a pile of what they “wanted”). i come back the next day the lady tells me she’s not interested in the pennie’s since they have so much, i knew they had a lot but the gentleman told me these would be the ones they could use for inventory. i’m not even trying to get money out of them i’m just trying to get rid of my dads collection and i thought selling them to a coin store could help them out. I won’t be dealing with them again since i wasted my time going through the coins after being told this is what they wanted and then i turn around and they wouldn’t take it! wasted my gas to go there and drop it off for them to just tell me “we’re not interested just take them to the bank” which i would have done anyways since we just got done at the coinstar getting rid of the pennie’s that weren’t on their list!! communication is key, they should’ve just said we’re not interested and i would’ve just went along with my day not thinking twice about it!

They had an incredible selection of new modern Dansco albums on display. They also had a great selection of raw world coins that I dug through. The things that jumped out the most to me were bins with oddities like modals and Sales Tax Tokens. Ryan and his manager were kind enough to let me take some photos. I also saw many bins with loose US coins, such as Buffalo Nickels, IHP, etc., at great prices. This is an excellent spot for kids to check out and try their hand at cherry picking. The other side of the store had stamp material, but I didn't check that side much. Overall, it's a great modern shop that would appeal more to the coin-collecting crowd.

I don't know about this place,I took a piece of 18kt gold in they told me it only weighed .o8 and said it was 14kt,and wanted to give me 46 dollars for it! Unless my scale is off by 3 grahams, then he lied to me about what it weighs!!,my scale says 3.8 and bracelet says (750),,with a cereal num on it so I kept it! It's a very pretty diamond tennis bracelet all diamonds 1 amythist and says 750, 3.80 grams ,,$46 bucks!!gonna take it to another place tomorrow just to see if I made the mistake but surely I know what my bracelet weighs and it ain't .08!

My husband has been going to Coin and Stamp for 18 years, selling and buying gold and silver. Yesterday we went in to trade in some broken gold chains that I’ve bought from them and Etsy (have receipts), the bottom half of silver spoons (we had bought the spoons from them to make spoon rings out of the handles AND had their receipt), 3 silver quarters that my husbands collected over several years and 2 sterling stamps. We wanted to trade these all in to get some coins my husband and son could share for Christmas. Instead the older guy who was helping us treated my husband like a criminal. He filled out a police report along with the usual receipt form then he became very short and condescending with us. My husband asked Karen, the owner, why this was necessary and she said because of all the robberies… To add to that ridiculous statement we had seen 3 other costumers come in and sell coins and jewelry, not a single police report form was pulled out and filled out with those customers. Instead of trading in, we took cash and taking our business elsewhere. Absolutely ridiculous customer service to a returning customer for 18yrs. We will not be returning. Take your business somewhere else if you don’t like being treated like a criminal.

The best coin shop in Washington. They check off all the boxes fur customer service. It all starts with rolling the red carpet out. Fast - impactful - competent- efficient - with a hand shake family style thank you. God bless this family operated business that helped put Tacoma on the map! If you want that customer service you had on the 80s-90s with an inventory of favorite gold or silver desires. Take the trip - Tell Them Kelly Bennet sent them... I don't tell lies - and well their product is the best
