Great vibes, but food and service was subpar for the price. Drinks and food were slow. Steak was bland and my order was essentially incorrect, but the server did try to fix it. Didn't try the breakfast, but want to try again for breakfast.

My cousin loves this spot! Every time I visit the area for work we meet here. Food is always delish! Wish they carried a hard cider though, I never seem to find a drink I want and everyone I ask the was ever if there’s a hard cider they tell me no. Otherwise great spot, nice ambiance, big booths.

I did not have such a great experience. If you are in the Seattle area go visit the 13 coins in downtown Seattle while visiting this location I was not providing complementary bread nor was I asked if I wanted it to be toasted. They just cut it and gave it to me raw and this was after I had already. Had my appetizer once my mail arrived before I could even buy into my meal, the female waitress will ask me everything good as I’m sitting there trying to enjoy my meal every so often she would bug me and I asked me as my meal OK and I’m like you could have a conversation with me ask me how my day is going, but it felt like she was keeping her eye on me as if I was going to do a dine and dash all in all the only thing I did like was the ice cream sundae that was amazing. My appetizer was a little bit cold. I think she forgot that it was sitting underneath the light before she gave it to me. She was more concerned, but converse with her fellow coworkers, then engaging with the customer All in all I left the 18% tip because at the end of the day people have to make a living and pay. Their bills was just very disappointed. I wanted to speak to a manager, but it wasn’t worth it. I figured I’d just leave a review visit the Seattle downtown location. It’s a way better experience And the place wasn’t even that busy and I requested to sit in a booth, but unfortunately cause I was a solo diner. I had to sit at one of the benches.

Love coming here when I am traveling for work. The food is great and reasonably priced. The service is always good.

I feel like I was let in on a travelers little secret. 13 coins was a quick walk from Sea-tac airport. With a safe room for luggage and cold beer, good eats, and stiff drinks. Having the little walk, and a cocktail after a long flight was a great way to be welcomed into Seattle. We took a Lyft from there and quickly got on our way. My friend and I weren't hungry at this time, but we did find another 13 coins for breakfast a couple of days later and had a wonderful meal. I got the eggs Benedict Florentine with spinach and felt I made the healthy right choice. Anyhow I imagine they may have 13 of these restaurants around the Seattle area but maybe they aren't that obvious. I just know there are more than one and all have a similar vibe to them. It's like old school dining meets modern seclusion and privacy in how they are decorated and laid out. I can certainly jive with that.

Loved this place for our group of 7 dining out on an evening in October. The food was so pretty on my plate and delicious. I had the Creamy Chicken Parmesan. The place where we were seated wasn’t too loud and the parking was plentiful and free with a validated ticket.

With a long layover at SeaTac, I crossed the street to 13 Coins—supposedly a Seattle institution. The place sits unassuming in a corporate building, but inside you’ll find classic old-school booths that gave me hope for something good. I hit happy hour on a slow night, yet somehow service still dragged. I went for what seemed like safe bets: pepper beef and pesto clams. Being in Seattle, I figured the seafood would be a slam dunk. Wrong. The clams were aggressively overcooked—dry, rubbery, and clearly not fresh. The pesto itself had decent flavor and the crostini were fine, but when your star ingredient is that bad, nothing else matters. The pepper beef’s creamy sauce tasted good (hard to mess up cream and pepper), but the beef quality was dismal and cut so thick it turned into a chewy workout for my jaw. Here’s what really stings: I went back to the airport afterward and found genuinely better food at a terminal restaurant. When SeaTac is outperforming your “classic” Seattle spot, something’s gone seriously wrong. 13 Coins might be trading on nostalgia and reputation, but the kitchen isn’t backing it up. Save your time and money. There are too many great places in Seattle to waste a meal here.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

13 Coins in SeaTac has a chill, laid-back ambiance that makes it a solid spot whether you’re dining late or just want a relaxed meal near the airport. The service is generally good, and the food is decent and consistent enough to keep us coming back. Must-try dishes include the pesto clams, chicken and waffles, Steak David with a ribeye, and their burger, which is always a safe choice. Expect to spend around $20 per person, which feels fair for the portions and overall experience. My only downside is the inconsistency with late-night pickup orders. I’ve called around 10:30 PM to place a pickup order, and depending on who answers the phone, they’ll either allow it or flat-out say no. That lack of consistency can be frustrating and is something that could definitely be improved. Overall, 13 Coins is a solid option with good food, a relaxed vibe, and mostly good service—just wish the pickup policy was more consistent

This is basically my favorite restaurant. Only gave 4 stars though for a couple reasons. Their prices have gone up but portions are smaller and they no longer give bread and antipasta with your meal (at least we didn't get any this time so assume that's no longer a thing). Food was delicious but can sometimes depend on the chef. I always order "The Believer" (Chicken Parm with a white sauce). It's my favorite meal hands down. It's served with a side of spaghetti noodles and more recently they added veggies which is good but wish they didn't use red bell peppers as it throws off the flavor of this dish so I put those to the side. Eggs Benedict is usually great here. The ceasar salad came with lots of parmesan, but was very over-dressed this time. This is a great spot near the airport open 24/7 with a great fine dining yet casual atmosphere. Sitting at the counter is fun if you want to watch the chefs cook. Overall, we love 13 coins and SeaTac seems to be the most consistant with how food turns out vs other locations.
