Offered €330 for $470 ... World exchange rate would be €431, so it was essentially a €101 fee. I understand costs to run a business a high but an upcharge of almost $100 on this transaction is unheard of. If you are new to traveling and currency exchange just go to an ATM in country, you won’t get charged near as much as ICE airport intl currency exchange Huts.

Please don’t exchange your money here. They steal almost all of it. I exchanged 415 dollars and only got 290 euros. Afterwards I checked the conversion rate and I should have received 375 euros. I was an idiot for not checking before, but I never imagined that an airport would allow this kind of scam to operate. This place should be illegal

Scam to avoid - check the conversion rate online first. They will encourage you to exchange even more money to avoid a “fee” but this is just a way to take even more. Their rate results in a loss of $200 if exchanging $800 minimum to “waive the fee”.

All of the low reviews do not understand the exchange process. The goole converter is not the market rate. And any place even your bank charges an exchange fee. (Tip)If you want a better convertion and a small amount of money, get currancy in country you a visiting.

Check the exchange rate before even walking up to this scam of a desk. 1st trip to Europe and thought it would be easy to exchange before we got to France. Gave $100 and only got 64 Euros back. Like many other people have stated, I can't believe Dulles would allow this type of scam in the airport. Thanks for making my 1st taste of Europe sour but I guess you like scamming people.

500 Dollars will give you 358 Euros. Then I checked the exchange rate 500 dollars should give you 460 a euro today. They take a huge cut from your money. It is so easy to say yes but Take Time to ask how much your money will yield. Search before hand and then compare. exchanging abroad is better! Or have the exchange done at your bank for a better rate!
