Called this place to sell a bunch of silver they said they would pay 20 bucks under spot wow that's crazy! Definitely wouldn't recommend if tour sellers!

I gave this place multiple shots these past couple years. They’ll stiff you hard. The lady has such a horrible attitude and the guy writes down items on a paper like hieroglyphics with prices. Do your research and find a better place to sell accordingly.

They will tell you a price over the phone and it will be lower once you arrive. Spoke to male on phone offered fair price on phone. Show up and woman low balls me even asked to speak with male because i wasted 30 min driving there to be lied to. Also found a comment from reddit a year old they done the same to someone else. These people are not honest.

I had a great experience with Luke a couple of years ago and was able to sell a bunch of coins for my uncle. When I reached back out to schedule a time to come in, the lady answering the phone was extremely rude. I will not be returning.

One star for the Lady way too much Five star for the guy who have helped me out with respect And didn’t even have an attitude I was trying to sell something for my friend And the guy was very respectful after Dealing with the rude lady And as you see other comments are the same as my comment I recommend dealing with the guy more than the lady. I don’t know their names, but the guy was very respectful.

Had a great experience coming to this business and if you are in the market to sell coins, currency (collection), and precious metals then you HAVE TO COME HERE. I say this because I went to several other locations around Richmond to get my coins appraised and no one gave me a better deal than Luke at Capital City. First he was very personable and patient and very knowledgeable about his business and second the prices he was quoting me were very fair. I thought I was going to shoot myself in the foot because I came in there with a bunch little plastic bags with coins and a sticker where I had written the price the last place I went to would give me me for them. I figure shoot he’s gonna see those numbers and at best match or give me a could bucks more for the coins. To my honest shock he didn’t do that at all. I say shock cuz in thai business theres a lot of greed and he easily could have given my say $5 more or $10 more on some coins then I was previously quoted but nope he would gave me $20 on top of what another would pay. There are a couple facts i see from this interaction one I was clearly low bald by all the other places I went to and two this man is very honest in his business dealings. LISTEN TO MY WORDS DO NOT SELL YOUR COINS OR METALS ANYWHERE BUT HERE. I came out of there with no regret or sellers remorse because I actually felt i got a fair deal. Thank you Luke for your expertise and time today I will be back soon!
