Sent 10 oz 24k at over 3300.00 per oz got $30.400 back, was told coins are less than 98%, return, these were not real coins!!! I cast them from 24k casting grain, I was ripped for over 2k. To bad have to find different refinery
Do not recommend!!! Used this company for 30 plus years. In the last year amounts did not add up to previous. And several added on fees without our knowledge when we received check. Crooks do not recommend!!!
Please DO NOT use their service. We should have read all the other reviews prior to doing business with them and we would have saved our hard earned money. Our company sent in a stone removal lot. When we received the check it was over $2000 short. I called and spoke to Debbie who was wonderful and let her know the issue. She said Frank the owner would get back to me. 1 week later and no response back so i called again and Debbie said that she was going to call today and that there was no change in the payout. You would think the owner would have called same or next day if there was an issue. We have been in the gold business for 20 years and know our numbers very closely and were shorted over $2000. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!
Very Shady operation , send them 255,000 worth of gold . 2532 gram of 14k, 290 gram of 18k, 132 gram of platinum and 14 gram of 10k (rings , bracelets , chains and more ).They charge 98% which is $5100 They confirm the weights when they got it . They confirm the gold rate of 4490.35 on 1/7/2026 I got a wire of 232,000 , $18,000 LESS !!! I called them few times and got the run around . Jewelry stores owners , gold dealers be aware !!! Read the reviews before you send your gold to Pease & curren .
We have a business over 51 years and send our scrap metal to be refined. Spoke to Pease & Curren and bottles were sent and sent back. Then they called stating they had the metal. The next day we received a call stating they decided in a meeting that morning not to take in silver so they would be sending it back. I had a problem with that since they told me to send it and now we have wasted 2 weeks waiting for the container and then shipping it to them. I called back asking for a manager and was told there was none. I called back again and spoke with the original person who told me to ship and she agreed it was very bad business to actually get the metal and after accepting it the owner told them to send all that metal back but he wanted the gold still. His own employee agreed it was very bad business ethics and as a business too, I am really disappointed and spoke with several other stores who are now never going to use them for refinery. If the company has poor businesses practices you should not use them. If the metal was not accepted we would have no problem. After reading other reviews and speaking with multiple stores, the conclusion is that business should stay away from sending their refining to Pease and Curren.
