I have tried at least five of Oklahoma’s major competing companies for “ cash for gold”. I have also tried two of the main online “mail in” online companies. I must say I was most disappointed by the mail in companies. My only guess is they must figure now that they have your item you’re at a disadvantage somehow? So the amount of haggling I had to do just to get them to the amount ABS offered me right out of the gate was astounding! Then as far as one of Okc’s largest advertised company ( I won’t use names because I don’t want to be tacky ) quoted me one price over the phone just to get me through the door but when I arrived it was so close to closing they completely low balled me! Once again I am completely making an assumption but my only guess is they must have believed I was desperate & would take anything because I knew it was too late to go anywhere else at that time. However I declined called ABS not only did they wait for me to arrive but they gave me the price they quoted me over the phone. Like a professional business who conducts straight forward, legitimate, honestly honorable business would. Don’t get me wrong if you have the time I am still a strong advocate for selling on eBay or platforms as such so you can really get the complete value of what your item is worth. However if you find yourself stuck between a rock & a hard place or just need a quick come up, whatever the reason.. . Before wasting your time running all over the city! Please consider going by my personal experience & take my humble advice … ABS has consistently been the highest paying gold buyer in Oklahoma City or online I have come across. If you know any competitor who can outshine them I would Love to know who they are & I will even be happy to revise my review but until then ABS you have me as a loyal client! Thanks for being an up standing example of a business (especially in an area people often consider kinda shady.) Sincerely, Arizona Kane

Extremely disappointing experience. They severely lowballed our diamonds and seemed more interested in flipping them for profit than giving a fair or honest evaluation. Felt rushed and undervalued the entire time. Definitely not a trustworthy place if you want a fair price for quality diamonds.

I've been to Absolute Diamond and Gold Buyers twice which is two times to many! The first for a valuation on some gold I wanted to sell. I decided to get estimates from several reputable gold buyers to find the fair & equitable purchase price valuation. Of the four estimates I had, they offered the lowest valuation, all "karat" rating amounts added together, would not write out the estimated purchase price they quoted me, and completely and totally refused to, at very least, provide the per gram purchase price rate they were offering per karat rate in the estimated valuation. Their estimate was approximately $400.00 lower than the other three estimates. All of those had been written and included the price per gram on each. Each buyer fully explained how the live gold price fluctuates, therefore, the estimated and purchase prices will not be the same and the written estimate does not guarantee the purchase price valuation at the time of sale will match the valuation on the estimate. When requested, Absolute Diamond and Gold Buyers entirely refused to write the estimate for me or even provide the per gram purchase price valuation stating that it is "proprietary." Seriously, I was asking for disclosure of some kind of secret intellectual property they developed/created. How is this information proprietary? It is not at all proprietary, the formula is fully, completely, and totally a standard industry formula based on price, purity, and weight. The only thing that is proprietary is the "business spread," which is the percentage they would take/keep as profit. I definitely did not request it be disclosed to me! However, not disclosing the purchase rate just makes it seem kind of suspicious/ unethical may be/is happening. I am definitely not saying it is at all. I am just stating the impression it left and feeling I had based on the statements made to me, during first experience with this gold buyer. All of this occurred after I patiently waited in a very comfy chair in their little seating area, while the sales people helped every person except for me, including everyone who came in after me. I was not waited until nearly 35 minutes after I arrived. I was not in a hurry to get anywhere else and wanted to get their estimate so I waited. However, I only did so because I was already there, and it was a long drive. After not receiving service in a timely manner, and then not being provided the information I requested, I decided I was only comfortable dealing with those which operate with absolute openness and are willing to service their clients with full disclosure. It goes back to my feelings about being reputable and ethical. In my case I was requesting the information in writing since I have sever cognitive brain injury have been determined diagnosed and approved as disabled due to issues which impede my memory and processing. Which would result in my requirement of information be provided in writing for future reference. My request was for an accommodation be made for me according both Federal and Oklahoma State Disability laws (which was explained to them but that is not required, in fact it is illegal for anyone including law enforcement to ask a person with a disability to disclose anything about their disability) and they refused to comply! On my second, wasted trip, I was also ignored for almost 20 minutes at least I received an apology from the salesperson this time, for his confusion. However, I only went because I was told they may be able to fix a broken gold chain. I called to verify the time they closed and if they would be able to take a look and see if they could fix it if it could possibly be repaired? The guy who answered, told me absolutely we do that type of repair and are open til 6 p.m. today. After the wait, he told me, "We don't do any repairs here." I verified the number I called was theirs and explained my phone conversation but couldn't recall the name of who I spoke with cause of my brain issues. He apologized and gave me a couple of possible leads for repairs. NEVER AGAIN!!!

I’ve bought from this store twice over the last year, and every visit reminds me why I shouldn’t come back. Their women’s white gold selection is slim, which isn’t surprising considering nearly everyone in the store is selling their jewelry, not buying it. They can call themselves whatever they want, but the vibe is pure pawn shop, just without the option to negotiate. My low rating is based entirely on the customer service, or really, the lack of it. The two main guys who work there (names never stick, probably because the interactions are so unpleasant) are cold, unwelcoming, and act like helping a customer is an inconvenience. They don’t greet you when you walk in. They barely even look up. And when you finally do ask a question, they respond with the most condescending attitude imaginable. One employee in particular needs to retire immediately, the tall, skinny older man with thinning white/blond hair, glasses, and the constant sour expression of a fulltime curmudgeon. He speaks to paying customers like we’re idiots interrupting his day. My husband asked him simple questions, and the man’s replies were demeaning, belittling, and dripping with superiority. Let’s be clear: we are PAYING customers. We are giving you money for items you bought dirt cheap from people who were probably desperate. The fact that this man acts smug to the very customers who keep the business alive is nauseating. What happened to basic customer service? I went in today ready to buy, even though I told my husband I didn’t want to deal with this man ever again. Sure enough he's the one "helping" us, as soon as he opened his mouth, the attitude was back.....annoyed, exhausted, and borderline hostile. Your job is not that hard dude, and a customer asking a question is not a personal attack that deserves a long winded response like you're scolding a child. I had to walk out. Buying jewelry should be enjoyable. The customer service at this store ruins the entire experience. My husband brushed it off and said his home life probably sucks, but that excuse doesn’t fly with me. This store desperately needs real customer service training and someone to remind their employees that rudeness is not a personality trait.

Best in city and state. If you want fare and top dollar come to Absolute Diamond and Gold. They they got all metals of value. Generic and premium. And FYI some of the agents are silver smiths. Anytime I have money or need a quick cash reup I come here. Honest patriotic hard working American who are non discriminatory and highly knowledgeable and reputable in the industry. The "Absolute" standard for metals, coins, diamonds, gemstones, fashion jewelry, niche market and collectibles. Best think I did in 2012 was walk through those doors. Best financial decision I ever made in 2012 was to learn from these fine patriotic men and get into precious metals. Best investment going. But don't tell everyone lol
