Brought all my unwanted gold in. He verified my list with all the markings against his own loop. He popped out any stones I wanted to keep, bagged them up and paid me fairly for my gold. Took some time to educate me on some things, as well. Also suggested I hold on to my silver for now since price was low at that time. My experience was great and will be going back with more broken necklaces and single earrings I didn’t think I was ready to part with.

Love working with these gentlemen. They are a class act and patient as well. I’ve completely switched from online purchases to visiting this coin shop exclusively!

I’ve been dealing with them for over 10 years. They’ve always been fair and honest with their pricing. They would always call me when they got something. They thought I would be interested in and they were willing to hold it for me till I got there with the money, I look forward to continued business with them.

Ordered 10 oz silver from them off their online store and after 3 weeks they didn’t ship it out, messaged them countless times and never got a response, even tried emailing. Sad group of scammers.

This is just another Staten Island mafia clip-joint, there's no actual coin dealing going on here. I needed quick money and didn't want to drive to Manhattan so I called about selling 2 of my 1-ounce gold Pamp bars new in the package and was told he'd give me $200 under spot, DUDE, ARE YOU SERIOUS OR WHAT?!?!? Why in God's name would I come here and hand you $400 plus the premium??? I mean how greedy can you get??? Apparently you can be even more greedy because another Staten Island clip-joint was gonna keep 600 plus the premium!!! Yeah, I'll pass on paying your mortgage this month, thanks!!! I called my initial dealer in Manhattan to sell him back those bars and he gave me $50 under, so thankfully we actually live in the city where "The Diamond District" is actually located, so who needs these neighborhood clip-joints?!?!?

These days it seems so many shops want nothing more than making top dollar on you. Sad, but true. Rarely do you come across such a pro as Steve at Richmond County Rare Coins. I brought in some silver, he weighed it, explained its value , and his buyout for purchase. He gave a very fair quote under spot, much better than three other shops i called, paid cash right then and there. It was actually, much to my surprise, a most pleasant experience. Bravo Steve. Jd.
