I've done business in this store before and I've recommended it to others but this time Mr. Castle himself refused to allow my legally qualified service dog to walk with me onto the rug in front of his display cases because he had just paid $700 to have it cleaned. His rug is far more important than you are. Find a different shop that values you and your business! ***Update to response from owner: Mr Castle, as I stated in my review and in your shop, my service dog is not a "pet." According the the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) she is "necessary medical equipment" no different from an oxygen tank, crutches or any other medical equipment. Let me put this bluntly- I have grounds to sue you for turning me away from your shop. Instead, I have filed an ADA complaint with the Federal Department of Justice and the NM Governor's Commission on Disability. I'm seeking to have you educated since you have not educated yourself. My service dog has more than the ADA minimum training for service dogs, including at least 180 hours of training over a minimum of 6 months plus the ability to pass the Public Access test for service dogs and 3 specifically trained tasks that she does for me with 90% accuracy because I can't do them for myself due to my disability. She does not have to wear any indications of this training, such as vest. I highly recommend you educate yourself on service dog law as the ADA also protects your rights. Had my service dog, for any reason, soiled or damaged your precious antique persian rug I would have been legally responsible for cleaning it. Please educate yourself on this matter.

Went to the shop to look for a gift for my wife for her birthday and the staff was extremely helpful and were able to get me exactly what I was looking for. They were very welcoming! The store was clean and the displays were nicely organized. Also, it’s a bonus to get greeted by the shop dog! Will definitely be going back to shop here.

I have done business with David for many years. You can even say decades. I have even done business with him when I lived out of state. I have ALWAYS BEEN TREATED WITH RESPECT, HONESTY AND COURTESY!!!! They have always taken as much time as i needed to take care of my transaction. David was an awesome person with a lot of Heart. He use to help me out with Nitric Acid because he was cool and they had a 50 gallon drum of it in the back. I know this because he would lock up the store and invite me back there with him. That made me feel good like he really respected me and treated me good. Well fast forward a couple years he retires and I knew better but thought to ask the guy now who is there and he was rude and had no idea what he was talking about. He said that I HAVE to have it in glass, and if you know about nitric, glass can break if dropped. a heavy grade plastic is better. As for Natalie she treated me kind and with respect. Now that Dave is gone I go to krugers crown jewel and coin and they are awesome. Miss you buddy

If I could leave a 0 star I would. Their customer service is horrible and the gentleman there is crabby and a grouch. Someone stole his birthday. They lost me as customer. They treated me like I owed them something. I have worked with Premier Gold up the street and they were great. Go there instead. He gives you spot price. These people only give you 98%.
