Don & Kim took great care of me. I called and Don picked right up. I got a valuation for my silver that was higher than the previous 3 places I went to. A friendly shop that I would recommend to anyone.

Stopped in yesterday with my Dad looking for a few specific items. Dom was so helpful and friendly. The knowledge that man possesses is incredible! The entire experience was excellent and well worth the trip. Looking forward to my next visit.

If you live in the area go here, if you don’t live nearby make a trip to here it’s worth it!! The owner is very pleasant to deal with, extremely welcoming and such a wonderful atmosphere in the shop! I went in with an issue I had with a coin I already had and the owner took the time to go over everything with me! They have everything to do with coins so many supplies, books and holders if you need it they Probally have it! Also they have a nice selection of metal detectors and metal detecting supplies!!! Highly recommend!!! Thanks for being great village coin shop!!!

My first experience with Village Coin was after I checked their hours online and headed there only to be greeted by a sign saying the store was closed for vacation. A call to their number said "closed our hours are" and then listing the hours for that day.. I'm all for taking a vacation but update your hours online and update outgoing phone message. I left my name and number for a call when they were back and never received one. Very poor communication.Once I got there during open hours the owner was very rude. He wouldn't answer my question about a coin the was sent out for valuation. He kept saying there were no reports and that encapsulating the coin is what was ordered. That made no sense at all since the request had been for a valuation. He kept raising his voice and asking me why I was being difficult. I didn't raise my voice but I was persistent in my questions. I felt he had sent the coin out for the wrong service. He called the police because he thought I was difficult and he wanted me out. Thankfully the male officer was able to get the answers to my questions. He had sent it out for grading, encapsulating is done to protect the grading/valuation and surprise of surprises...there was a report that verified the coin and gave an estimated valuation. Once I had answers, I paid the bill and got my coin. It should have been an easy transaction. If he hadn't been rude and evasive about answering my questions it would have been. After reading other reviews it seems rudeness is a running theme for the owner.

I stopped in to ask some questions before possibly making a purchase, and both men working were talking in the back, both looked at me standing there, and resumed talking about the weather. I stood there waiting, thinking the one closest would atleast say hello or be right with you. Nothing. I actually couldn’t believe how rude it was. So I left.

I visited with my wife, and the owner was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain a lot about coins, which we really appreciated. His prices were very fair, and we were able to find some great pieces. We will definitely be returning!
