I went in to see how much I would get for selling two rings one was a 10 carat and the other was a 14 carat, he offered me $30. I said no because I knew that was Way too low, he said I wouldn’t get more anywhere else. I went to the pawn shop on Amherst Street. Because I had had good experiences with them and they offered me 170 for both rings. Quite a difference.

I went to Shnayder jewelers to reset a precious family heirloom gem, the process of choosing the setting, adding details and having the work complete was excellent. The most comforting thing for me was knowing that the owners of Shnayder Jewelers do the work in-house and they are the only ones who handle the gems. The options were endless and the owner took great care to be sure he understood exactly what I wanted, the prices were 1/2 of what I was quoted at the big mall shops (that do not do their own work). The environment in the shop is relaxed and quiet, allowing for better communication while designing the setting. I’m very thrilled with the results and would highly recommend Shnayder Jewelers.

I bought a vintage ring at Shnayder about six years ago and wore it day and night. It's one-of-a-kind, has two shades of gold, fits perfectly and fits my "style." I felt lucky to find it at a pawn AND jewelry store. Alex showed me many rings he had made before he brought this one out. I didn't have much time to shop around and I didn't need to shop any further when I put this one on. I was a little hard on the ring and cracked it in a few places. I went back and he repaired and cleaned it. I didn't bother comparing prices and judging from the other reviews, it sounds like I got a good price. The ring looks like new. I can't detect the cracks and he cleaned up all of the crevasses. It was worth what he charged. It wasn't cheap, but you have to pay for quality workmanship. Thank you Alex, twice over, for my replacement wedding ring. After 43 years of marriage, sometimes things break.

I went to this pawn shop one time and the guy told me that since I wanted such a small $50 loan on a pneumatic stapler that it would be 100% interest. What a rip off!!! Not a good way to do business and attract new clientele.

Mr. Alex is one of the most fair and honest pawn sailsmen I have ever run across. My first interaction with him began with him telling a customer that he would get better prices elsewhere and to not lost his chance at extra money. He then thoroughly explained that he wishes to provide info as well as good service. I highly suggest giving him a visit as he is a fair and good man who won’t do you wrong.
