Not only did the owner try to renegotiate the original verbal agreement by saying she needed to "revisit my property". Everything that was said had suddenly changed as if she was a totally different person, when she came back accompanied by her husband. After the first visit she was suppose to send over the contracts that never happened then after the second visit said she would send them in 15 min also never happened. When my Husband reached out to find out what the hold up was she responded with personal irrelevant excuses that had nothing to do with this business deal. My husband own his own business and writes contracts almost daily between the 2 of us have 30 years working is customer based industries that depend on great customer service and I can personally tell you this is NOT IT. When reviewing her business Facebook page I see she doesn't deal well with criticism. Fighting with customers because of their honest opinions is not how you manage any business if you plan to succeed. My father's passing was sudden and that is why I need a deep clean out and estate sale done she did not make this a pleasant interaction considering the circumstances Do yourself a favor look else where she's only after "stuff" to fill her store for her own profit I don't think she should be offering estate services when that's not what she's been doing.

UPDATE: I came flying through the parking lot?? My vehicle is far too old to FLY anywhere 😂 what kind of vehicle was I driving? Car? Van? SUV? Truck? I didn’t even park next to any other vehicles…must have me confused with someone else. I definitely did not come up there after you “posted about free stuff” at 5:45pm…firstly, I don’t live close enough to just jump in the car when I see a “free stuff post” and secondly, I am pretty particular about what I purchase, and those specific things would probably never be “free”…. Also…there’s a different between a uranium glow and a manganese glow…and a pretty hefty price difference as well. My flashlight only picks up on uranium glow, so you guys must be using the wrong type of light. 🤷‍♀️ Also, high five for being the most professional shop owner…I have never seen such nasty remarks coming from someone who runs a successful business (reading a few of your reviews along with your responses were quite entertaining)…with that being said, good luck and god speed in your future endeavors. Went here for their BOGO sale, hours were posted Saturday and Sunday 11am-6pm. I rushed over to make it there before 6pm, walked through the door at 5:30pm and was instantly told that the sale was over 😞 I still walked around, saw a few things that claimed they “glowed”…when I checked with my light, they did NOT glow. I was super excited to check this place out, but unfortunately, probably won’t be back.

This is a real fine! If you come once, you will be addicted to one of the best Antique stores in Michigan. Great deals, and Maria does fantastic bundles for incredible prices. You will not believe the rare and unique pieces you can find. You will feel at home!

Maria and staff did an awesome job. Although there were not as many items that were sold at the estate sale, the amount covered labor and clean out fees. After the cleanup, the house looked totally different. I felt like I was on an episode of Love it or List it. Maria basically had the house ready for showings inside of a week. My house then sold two days after being listed. I would not have had the time or the availability to take off work to do what Maria and her staff did getting that house ready. It would’ve taken me 4 to 5 months in what she did inside of a week with her staff is remarkable. I was able to move out of the house into my new place within a week and a half. They busted their ass on this one. I highly recommend her and her crew.

Maria’s Antiques is exactly the kind of shop you hope to stumble into when you’re working on something special. I’ve been building a gallery wall, and this place had an incredible selection of vintage frames, art, décor, and unique little treasures I didn’t even know I needed until I saw them. Maria herself was there and went above and beyond—she personally helped wrap and pack all my fragile frames with so much care. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does and takes great pride in her store. The rest of the staff was just as wonderful, jumping in with ideas and making the whole project even more fun. The shop is clean, well-organized, and constantly updated, which made it so easy (and honestly exciting) to browse. I was there nearly two hours and could’ve stayed longer—there’s that much to explore. My only small suggestion would be to have an on-site customer restroom. For a store this size, it would really enhance the overall experience. The restroom I was directed to next door wasn’t clean or stocked, so having a dedicated one would be a great improvement. But overall? This place is an absolute gem. If you love antiques, vintage décor, or beautiful old pieces with character—run, don’t walk. I’ll definitely be back soon!
