I stopped in last week to have some silver coins assessed. Matt helped me with a thorough consultation and advised me that the best course of action would be to hold off on selling for now, as he could not offer full value given the recent flood of silver into the market. He did offer a much better than expected price for one of my coins. I very much appreciate Matt's honesty and professionalism. I am not knowledgeable about coins and Matt easily could have lowballed me, but he instead gave me good advice. Thank you for the excellent customer service and informative experience.

Wow! We walked into this store looking to get value on my grandfathers coin collection. Tom took his time with us, precisely organized everything in order, was honest, showed us the logistics on what each coin was worth. But also, you can tell that he truly has a passion for what he does, I’ve walked into a few coin stores before but the way they handled everything with such care and had so much knowledge made me feel so comfortable that the collection would be placed into good hands. Although, towards the end we felt emotionally tied to the collection so we didn’t go through with the sale. The price given for the collection was the best we’ve ever seen! I will be returning and recommending this place to everyone!!!!

Very knowledgeable, friendly, and easy to work with. I brought approximately 250 old coins to Sterling Rare Coin that had been donated to my church. They took the time to sit down with me and go through the collection to determine whether any of the coins had significant value. As I expected, most of the coins were primarily worth their silver content, like the one shown in the attached photo. Sterling Rare Coin made me a fair offer for the entire lot, and I was very pleased with the experience. I would definitely visit Sterling Rare Coin again if the need arises. Highly recommended!

Due to illness, I began selling off my great grand fathers collection. Not have the skills or energy to inventory a four hundred pound collection. So I started the process at Sterling Rare Coin. So after spending well over an hour there, we settled on the selling of many coins, mint sets and certified coins. As I was getting ready to leave the son began talking about all the counterfeits he has bought over the years and how many people he had put in jail. I personally took that threat and totally unbecoming considering the amount of coins he bought for a reality low price.

I started my grandchildren collecting pennies this Christmas. On the West Coast we have a difficult time finding Philadelphia minted coins. One call to Matt and he set us up with the coins we were looking for. Great service, very helpful, and I'm sure he is a coin dealer you can trust.
