Had a TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. This girl with girl with glasses and black hair would not let me exchange a disposable that I bought in front of her 2 minutes before-did not even leave the store. I wanted to exchange and pay the difference of another one and all she did was shake her head and say “no you can’t no no”, she wouldn’t even get the manager. She had EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER service and should not be working somewhere people come in and out. Not to mention her personality altogether was very strange.

Had a terrible experience. It seemed like none of the workers wanted to help, which was incredibly disappointing. There was a worker with frizzy black hair, glasses, and acne who I asked for help and she was very rude and dismissive. She didn’t listen to a word I said to her and wasn’t trying g to do anything to help me, or do her job in general. Only come here if you want to lose time and get absolutely nothing done, because it seems like that’s what this shop is for.

Very great place! Alex was very helpful and knowing with all the different cameras and photography. He helped me find a great lens that I was looking for. Great and friendly customer service would highly recommend!

This is definitely the best shop for photographers in the Orlando area. There is a reason why these guys have been around for 70+ years. They keep in stock all the gear and kit you'd ever need as a photographer or videographer at competitive prices. Great selection of new and used lenses. They also do gear rental and it's a quick and easy process. I appreciate that I'm in and out within 10 minutes each time I rent gear or pick up my camera after a sensor cleaning. All of the staff on the photo side are excellent and knowledgeable. I've been coming here for years and will continue to do so.

The awesomest place ever for camera nerds! I loved every moment I was here. the camera bodies were fantastic. lots of used equipment at a pretty good price. the best thing is their film development! Go here!

Been going to Colonial Photo and Hobby since I was a kid ,I hadn't been there in quite some time. I needed some photo work done and they could not have been more helpful. The guys at the counter took control and handled everything perfectly for me. When I went to pick up the finished project, it was perfect. The people were very nice and super helpful. Nice job guys. The folks here are so much fun and EXTREMELY knowledgeable on every topic in the store. I asked them about pretty much every item I saw in the photography section (mostly out of fascination and curiosity) and they at least one person was able to give me a run down of it's functions and best uses. Walked out with some 35mm gear feeling pretty confident I could venture from digital to film and had so much fun the entire time! You can tell the folks here really love what they do and are passionate about the hobby supplies / professional products they sell. Plus a fantastic range of baked games!

I’ve purchased my used Fuji-film XT-5 and a few used lenses here. I’ve had zero issues with the used merchandise, usually I am very skeptical of getting any electronic used. The employees are very nice and helpful. They even let me try out the camera and lens to make sure it was something that I wanted.

This is without a doubt one of the best hobby shops that I have ever been to. They have a great collection from board games to models, trains to cameras, and the staff are all so helpful and kind. Everyone at the store always has a smile on their face and is willing and eager to help. The last few times I've been in, Denver has helped me in the photography section. He always goes above and beyond to help me with my multitude of questions since I am not knowledgeable about cameras, and he is always very honest and guides me in the right direction. Thanks, Denver!
