The staff here were very friendly and accommodating while I waited for the owner to return from lunch. Unfortunately, when he arrived, he didn’t seem very interested in helping. I asked if there was any flexibility on the card prices, but he declined, even though the employees mentioned he’s usually willing to negotiate. If you’re looking for fair pricing or room to work a deal, this might not be the shop for you.

Gonna have to agree with the other reviews on here about the pricing. The staff is always wonderful and friendly, but I'm pretty over these prices. While the selection at Dan's is usually pretty good, he doesn't sleeve mtg singles, and he doesn't seem to grade anything. So when buying MTG singles, they'll charge you %30 over market for a card with OBVIOUS play wear. For example, they charged me $7 for a Primal Surge (which is a $5.50 card, near mint) that's clearly heavily played. The store has no digital inventory, it doesn't seem. Every time I ask if he has a card, employees have to dig to look for it. Which takes forever. Because his prices are so high (and because the sign on the register suggests doing so) I started E-mailing him my lists so I could price check them first, and try to buy cards reasonably priced, or ones I needed that I just couldn't find. I last emailed Dan Tuesday morning. (They're closed Tuesday) On Wednesday they said the cards were pulled already and being priced and I would hear back in about an hour (2:00pm.) Well, Friday rolled around and I still hadn't received a call or e-mail back. I needed my cards for game night so I had to swing by before work. When they gave me the price it seemed crazy, but I was in a hurry and didn't have time to barter and shouldn't have been an issue if anyone had e-mailed me back at any point. So I just got my cards, left, and figured if he ripped me off, then I'll just eat that loss and not do business with him again. I checked my cards and he charged me %40 more than list price for all of those cards. (together, not individually) If you absolutely NEED something, you can possibly find it there, so as a last resort, I think Dan's is still a good option because of the selection, But I would recommend checking every other location first and using this store as a last resort. That's assuming you don't buy cards online. If you buy cards online Idk why you would buy singles here at all.

I previously left a positive review, but this experience changed my opinion. I drove 30 minutes to sell sealed Pokémon products and cards that are currently in demand for store credit. The shop declined to make offers on almost everything with little explanation, then offered 60% on a single sealed box. The percentage itself isn’t the issue, it’s the lack of communication and the wasted time. If the shop is only interested in buying very specific items or is selective about sealed product, that should be clearly stated upfront. A buying business should at least explain what they are and aren’t looking for before someone makes the trip. Seems as though they have no money to buy inventory and are stuck with a bunch of product they overpaid for. I wouldn’t recommend coming here to sell and will be taking my business elsewhere.

Nice selection of products. nice staff.... saw a box of cards for $145... bought a few boxes... go back with the money to buy the $145 box... they literally marked up the price of the box by $100 over night. So instead of $145 they tried to squeeze an extra hundred and marked it at $245. I understand its a buisiness but COME ON. Really?

On our first visit for Pokemon trading cards, we were greeted at the door with a warm inviting welcome 🤗 The store is very organized and maintained. The selection was top notch and we found more than what we bargained for! The lighting inside a few of the display cases could be brighter to make it easier to see the details of each card. With about 5 minutes to closing they remained helpful and enthusiastic about completing our purchase at checkout! Looking forward to our next visit 😃
