We would have spent two hours in this place. 10/10. You’re looking at 50-350$ dresses. It’s a little expensive for me at this time but I would love to come back to the area just to come back here!! The woman working had great style.

Really cute vintage store with a huge selection but everything was too overpriced for me personally, which was disappointing because these are all items that are clearly (mostly) thrifted and nowadays thrift stores are all bought out of vintage items by resellers like this one who buy a t-shirt for 5 bucks and turn around and re-sell for $40+. Kinda sad honestly, I left feeling shocked and disappointed by this.

When I’m in Sarasota, the only thing that I want to do is go to Canned Ham Vintage and play dress up for hours! This is just a fun place to go, a cave of wonders, I always find amazing gems for everyday of for night, pretty accessories and great things for home too!! I think my closet is 50% made from this wonderland!! I am just in LOVE with this vintage store! ❤️ And if I miss them too much, they always have great finds on there website!

I am from Alabama where Mardi Gras is widely celebrated (my husband and I are seasonal SRQ’ers). This year I was invited to the Gaieties Ball and needed a roaring twenties outfit. A dear friend of mine from Sarasota recommended I try Canned Ham for a dress. We drove down from the Lakewood Ranch area and upon arrival quickly knew I had hit the jackpot. The young lady working that morning, Marina, was amazing help! I told her exactly what I was looking for and she began pulling dresses for me. They had fabulous pieces to choose from. I ended up with the perfect dress, headpiece, handbag, earrings and a bracelet. We were short on time so we couldn’t “get lost” in the merchandise, but I’m excited to know about Canned Ham Vintage and look forward to going back. The shop is immaculate and chock full of a plethora of categories. There’s clothes of course (men’s too!) tons of jewelry, furnishings, art, decorative accessories, etc! They offer vintage as well as antique pieces all very fairly priced. I highly recommend Canned Ham and can’t wait to go back!

A nice selection of vintage items. Fun stuff to look at, and I did end up buying a $15 ring from their collection. Nice stuff. Many items are above $50, however there were lower cost items too. Everything is lovingly curated. The person I spoke with knew about each item too. It's always fun when old items come with a story too!
