Nice family owned business, the gentleman was very nice and patient and allowed me to inspect the coins and even held the coin for me for a day at the same price when the price went up overnight Appreciated

I got scammed at Camino Coin Co shop in Menlo Park, California. I sold (2/9/2026) a gold 1 ounce US Eagle for $4935 spot was $5083. sold one earlier that day ATT another store at $4972 but they ran out of cash… 2% less spot.) Then I had two foreign gold coins .. they agree to pay me 5% back spot but the lady just said “$6674, that good?” And I should have stopped and added up. She paid me 90% of spot for the gold coins. And when counting out 67 $100 bills, she said keep the $26. But I did not count the money and bank said $6600. So, I should have got $6764 but she only paid me $6600. I left the store, went to bank and came back and asked if a $100 dropped on ground. They said No, too bad, I should have counted it. I sold to them twice before but now… will use another shop!

The woman who helped us, Adriana, is absolutely amazing. Very kind and knowledgeable. She was able to get through all of our coins in a timely manner and gave us a good deal for our coins.

I love this place. I know it gets mixed reviews but the staff has always been patient and friendly with me, inquiring about my life etc and sharing about theirs When I was new to precious metals, they helped educate me on the different types of rounds etc They always give really good rates when you buy or sell 10/10

Best coin shop in the Bay Area! Owned and operated by a wonderful family. Fair prices, great and constantly changing inventory, and very helpful staff. Can’t recommend enough for buying or selling

I needed a specific coin for my sisters wedding and the staff here were super accommodating and helped me search through their very large inventory until I found what I was looking for. Wonderful staff and the prices are beyond reasonable. Whether you are buying or selling, I would highly recommend Camino Coin Co.

Offer great price for silver . The lady at the counter is super nice and give fair prices on silver . Would come back. Edit: Call today for silver price and this older gentleman gave $5 back spot . So it depends on who pick up the phone. I rather prefer the young lady Adriana quoting because she gives the most fair price . Kyle who usually gives about $3 back is decent . With silver in high demand $5 back is ridiculous. Silver will probably hit $100 since it’s $95 at the time of this edit.

Honestly, in my opinion… the best coin shop in the Bay Area! Been coming to Camino Coin for about 2 years now and haven’t come across another store with better customer service and pricing. Every time I’ve visited the service is fast, not waiting for more than 5 min. , and the people there are very knowledgeable and friendly. When selling to them, they offer fair prices and always cash on the spot… no questions asked. My only negative is that I wish they had more instore selections to shop from when it comes to numismatics and bullion items. Other than that… they’re great! Thanks again.
