They don’t honor the prices shown on their website, so I wouldn’t trust the online pricing. It’s better to email them first before placing an order. I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because the issue didn’t affect me too much, but overall it’s not a good experience for customers.

Went here recently to sell some silver and authenticate it. The person looked at my item for less than 60 seconds. Did zero tests to see if it was silver and was half paying attention to other things around him. He said no and gave it back to me. No help. No info. No Hi or Hello or goodbye. Bad manners and even worse customer service. I took it else where and was told that IT WAS silver so I'm clearly never going there again. EDIT TO ADD: HE THEN RESPONDS. Mistakens who I am and what I brought in to get looked at. Clearly doesn't remember me. Poor way to operate and weird to accuse me of being another customer. If you had actually payed attention and looked you'd have remembered. Your assurance is very un-assuring

They must be rich. I just wanted two coins, but the service was so kind. The beautiful woman and the handsome man both had perfect smiles. They tried their best to help me get what I wanted.

Very respectful staff! Decent selection, better than average rates for selling Silver and Gold! I appreciated the staffs knowledge and patience as I inquired about multiple items for sale. The place is very secure and is in a decent location too which is quite nice! Their coin and bill collection for sale is quite extensive and there is quite a variety of denominations from different countries! Definitely will be returning here at some point in the future!

Incredible service, fairest prices for both purchasing and selling. The staff are professional looking and treat you with the utmost respect. The owner Joseph is beyond professional and has a very long-standing reputation. For being one of the premier precious metals dealers within Canada. I own a small town pawn shop that deals in bullion and scrap metals.And I have never had a more fair place to do business than J and M Coin and Jewelry. I will not go anywhere else.

First thing first, Every 1 star review here for this shop is indeed accurate. If you are in market for silver or gold coins, read every 1star reviews and bring your money elsewhere. This shop does not honor the price on their own website. I placed an order for 8 fine silver coins on their website. It is meant to be for parents christmas. They canceled my order 2 days later, i called twice and both persons told me same reason which is silver spot price has gone up and they cannot honor the price. Now that I left with no coins and has to buy it elsewhere for higher price because silver spot has gone up. I have never deal with any coin or bullion shop like J&M that won't honor price and cancel order because spot price has gone up. This shop is a waste of time!! After reading other bad reviews, I realized that I am not alone. This business is known for such practice. Aside from that, they also add full tax on every 9999 fine silver coins i had in the order. Which should be tax exempted in canada. It is skretchy. This shop is not a honest business, a complete waste of time. I will definitely share my experience within coins collection and bullion investment community.

J&M Coin & Jewellery, a numismatic paradise! I’m Benjamin, a 11 year old numismatist that loves silver coins. I’ve been one since I was 5 years old. This rewiew is very long and I told myself, “Robert and Shelly, the nice people that helped me are awesome. This was my first time at J&M Coin & Jewellery Buyers and my expectations were met with a neat and large two story store showcasing the many coins and bills from multiple countries . I ended up buying a diverse variety of beautiful and historic coins that were so beautiful it seemed like I was in a dream. Robert went well above my expectations to provide me with the best experience possible that made my day. While checking out, Shelly kept complimenting me constantly warming my heart. Some notable coins are my 1937 Canadian Dime ( First year that George VI appears on the dime), and a huge scoop of Canadian pennies with many coins. At this point, this shop needs rewiews over 10, not 5 stars. J&M has become my favorite store for numismatic items in Canada. This shop also won an award I created, “Largest Store I’ve ever been.” This large store has two flors and the products shown in each are all beyond amazing.
