Had a wonderful experience with this family run business. Took the time to explain everything and we were very satisfied with our transaction.

**Disappointing and Unprofessional Experience - Do Not Recommend** ⭐ (1/5 stars) I had an extremely disappointing experience at The Bronze Look and would caution anyone against doing business here. When I arrived, I explained upfront that I didn't know what I had – that it could be everything or nothing. The owner never asked what I wanted to do with the coins (sell, get appraised, etc.) and immediately began sorting through them in a dismissive manner. He rudely separated items into piles he called "spend money" and "play money," and even made mocking comments about whoever had collected them, particularly the penny collections. **Lack of Professionalism:** - He walked away with my coins and had another person help him go through them while they made jokes together - Never explained his evaluation process or methodology - Provided no information about individual coins or their actual values - Appeared to pay a flat rate per category rather than evaluating each coin After going through everything, he offered me $95 for a "substantial pile" of coins. When I asked questions, he repeatedly dismissed me with "you don't have anything" and "they didn't leave you anything to work with." **The Worst Part:** When I said I'd rather keep the coins and give them as Christmas gifts, he told me I needed to **pay him for his time**. He demanded a full mason jar of wheat pennies (which he'd valued at only $7.15) as payment. When I asked about paying cash instead, he condescendingly said "you don't want to do that" – implying I couldn't afford his time. He never even opened the jar to see what was inside. **Bottom Line:** He provided no actual service – no information about my coins, no education about their value, nothing. What exactly did I pay him for? The experience felt like extortion, and his cocky, dismissive attitude throughout made it clear he was trying to take advantage of someone who admitted they didn't know what they had. A reputable coin dealer should educate customers, explain their findings, and treat people with respect regardless of whether a sale happens. This is literally their job. Instead, I left feeling swindled and disrespected. **I strongly recommend taking your coins anywhere else but The Bronze Look.**

A Gem with a Golden (or should I say Bronze) Touch! The Bronze Look in Princeton is a true local gem. You can tell it’s a family-run business the moment you walk in β€” warm, welcoming, and full of character. The gentleman who helped me was incredibly personable and professional, making the whole experience feel genuine and enjoyable. And I have to mention the cute little wooden nickels they gave me! It instantly brought back memories of my late grandfather, who always told me, β€œNever take any wooden nickels.” I couldn’t help but smile β€” it felt like a sweet, full-circle moment. If you love unique finds, friendly service, and a touch of nostalgia, definitely stop by The Bronze Look. It’s one of those places that makes you glad to shop local!

This place is awesome!! I highly recommend if you have any old coins, jewelry or just want a nice friendly atmosphere to go browse around in this is the place to go. I went in with a few coins I had and fell in love with the place and the owner. He was such a friendly man. I’d go back just to sit and talk with him. He is very knowledgeable and will give you the best price for your coins or whatever you might have. He also has some very beautiful merchandise as well. I look forward to going back soon I hope. Trust me you will not be disappointed. Keep up the great work β€œThe Bronze look”!!
