The guy in charge there does not know much about silver and gold. I had brought in a few things first he missed the sterling silver mark on one piece trying to tell me it was not silver. Next he did not know anything about artistic anodized silver to bring out different tones from different metals. Needless to say he continued to tell me that all silver is marked. I tried to explain to him that some foreign artisans don't have ability to stamp therefore not all is but yes most is. I bought it from a legit place out of the states. Did my homework before we went out knew the store to go to. Either way I highly recommend you go somewhere they know what they are doing. He also tried to tell me only way to know is x-ray, that is false acid and potassium mix look for deep red 92.5 or bright red 999. I'm pretty well schooled on metals and melting points i have a forge and do metal work. I'm not a fan of someone questioning my intelligence when I've already heard them make 2 false statements. I'll test myself and melt it down
