Good buying experience today
Went in to sell some items with a friend. Owner was rude and tried talking to us like we didn't know what we were doing or what we had. When I realized there was no way he was going to even come close to what a pawn shop would've paid I got up and walked out. My friend was not far behind but was gathering the stuff up when the owner started threatening him. He followed him all the way outside threatening him and making a scene. In my experience if you want to handle a situation like that you do so with discretion so as not to alert the authorities....you handle your business and go separate ways. That whole screaming and tossing your hands in the air is something females do. Anyways, if you want fair prices...go somewhere else.
I never had to sell silver before, in all honesty I prefer buying but with the covid I had to sell for the first time so I didn't know what to expect. Quinton made it real easy and gave me a really fair deal. It's a small shop a decent selection worth at least peaking into if your interested in metals and collectables.
Made an appointment with the guy to sell some gold and silver arrived. He's not there. He wasn't even in town called them up, says. Well, we can make another appointment. Like what's the point in that? If you didn't show up for the first one.
Awesome place, very easy to find. It has plenty of parking available. The staff is polite and family oriented. Lots of coins and jewelry to feast your eyes on. Good deals to be had in this place definitely. You can sell your silver and gold and buy something else on the way out the door!!!! I highly recommend this place for business and will be returning in the future!!!!!! Thank you!!!
When I called and asked what their pay out percentage was I was told they thought it was 80% wasn't sure..when I got there I asked and it was 70% which is fine. However, I had just over 4 oz. Of Sterling Silver I was shown the spot price as $40 and some change..I told him it was $41.67. I checked before I stopped by. According to his math by his $40..times my 4oz..he got $160.??.but said I would get 70% he gave me $95..Which I could have said no to..but in reality he gave me less than 60%. By his math, it should have been $116.62..that is just going with the 4 oz..it was slightly more. Again I could have said no, but I expected honesty. I guess I will need to pay close attention and not be distracted.
