Worst experience i have ever had in Australia. Can't believe that a company that worth millions or billions of dollars Can't afford to employ more staff to answer phone calls or reply to emails. I have ordered gold about a month ago and still haven't received the order yet, i sent them an email 3 weeks later to check if there's any updates but a week later no response, so i had to give them a call ,i was on the phone for over 1hr 20min but no one answered. I am very frustrated now, it feels like a scam not a real company, spent thousands of dollars but no order been received and calls been answered and emails been replied to. Very sussss

never recommed them to order the cast bar, I ordered online gold cast bar a month ago , still no information about this. they never pick the phone and never respond to any emails, Finally I have lodged the formal complaint. it looks like I have been scammed as they are not responding to any inquiries. no idea why they are still selling online even no estimate of delivery time. please avoid ordering online

Entertaining fun and immersive gold history including the goldfields and a good old fashioned gold pour too

You need to take a guided tour to go inside; otherwise, you can only look at the sales area outside. The guided tour involves explanations, showing you the largest gold coin and some signs introducing the Perth Mint. At the end, the guide will demonstrate how to make a gold nugget using a vacuum melting furnace. There is no audio guide, so it might be a bit boring if you don't speak English well.

Absolutely atrocious 'service' ... Ordered bullion 3 weeks ago still no update. Can't speak to anyone on the phone, no replies to emails. I've paid thousands of dollars upfront and can't even get a human response. Won't be dealing with them again.

Three cheers for Madeline, who led our guided tour. Love her style of presentation, very funny and animated. Can tell she is a very professional and competent narrator. The Mint was a great place to visit, great to see the gold ones and coins. As many have mentioned, the gold melting and pour was a fantastic highlight of the guided tour. The tour was not too long but informative - short and sweet.

$25 fee is well worth. You xan see a 1 tone gold coin, the 7th biggest gold nugget in the world, you have feel the weight of a 12.4kg gold bar, a show to make a gold bar, and a coin souvenir. Absolutely awesome. You can buy a personalized silver coin for $99.

Love this place! Joined one of their 1-hour tour and had a great time. It was very interesting to see how minting coins and the technology behind production of gold and silver have changed so much. It’s a different level compare to our everyday coin. I would come again in future and see how all these have evolved.

Visiting The Perth Mint was a memorable blend of history and craftsmanship. The guided tour was insightful, and watching the refinery’s precision firsthand underscored why their gold coins are so iconic. The shop offers stunning, authentic pieces and fair pricing, with staff patient and knowledgeable. A family-friendly experience that blends education with currency—perfect for curious travelers and coin enthusiasts alike. Highly recommend for a uniquely Australian glimpse into precious metals.

The mint tour was very enjoyable. The presentation about the history of gold was interesting, but the highlight was the demonstration of gold melting and casting. We were especially pleased with the opportunity to strike our own coin. You can also have a custom coin made with your own design, or purchase gold and silver bars, coins, and jewelry. A real wow moment is the largest coin in the world, which they have on display. I recommend booking the tour in advance, as it is very likely to be fully booked on the day you plan to visit.
