I had such a great experience at this pawn shop! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in. Their prices are some of the best I’ve seen—fair, reasonable, and clearly focused on helping customers get good value. What really made our visit special was the kindness they showed my son. They surprised him with a free Christmas stocking filled with toys and candy, and it absolutely made his day. They sell counterfeit items. They should know better. Axels used to be the best. Used to be. I bought some time ago, a "Mittitoyo" 6 inch digital caliper from them. 6 months back or there about I bought a 12 inch "Mititoyo" caliper there and it was in rough condition. When I asked for a price reduction, I just about got my head bitten off and lectured how these are 500 bucks brand new. Yeah, brand new. I have had nothing but problems from both of these calipers and the 6 inch has caused me to ruin pieces in my shop because I found the jaws were not ground parallel to each other. The 12 inch just refused work altogether and when it did work I could not get a decent measurement from it. I figured well, they are old and worn out. Maybe its time I buy a NEW Mititoyo caliper. And I found an 8 inch caliper online and bought it. When THAT caliper arrived I noticed it was much different than my other 2, in just about every way. I thought, I just got sold a fake mititoyo caliper and wasted 200 bucks. When I checked the website I got it from, I seen they were an authorized mititoyo dealer. So I went to youtube and GROK and started investigating why my brand new caliper doesn't look right. After nearly 2 days I come to find my new caliper was exactly as it should be and was in fact a genuine Mititoyo caliper. It was the 2 "Mititoyo" calipers I bought from Axels that were fake counterfeits and gosh, how that doesn't surprise me. It isn't MY job to be able to tell if these are counterfeit or not, its their job. And for what I paid for these... No one would buy them knowing they were fake mititoyo. Not to mention they are absolute garbage. I have nearly $300.00 invested in 2 counterfeit mititoyo that have done nothing but cost me a lot of problems in the shop as well as additional money in lost time and wasted metal from parts I had to make that didn't measure properly. I rarely ruin parts because I am very careful when machining. When I realized the jaws on the 6 inch were not ground parallel I tried to fix it myself because I thought maybe the tips had burs built up and they just needed a little precision ground stone run over them. Well, that didn't fix them, the jaws were not ground parallel, there is NO way to fix these. They were too out of whack. Aside from that, the atmosphere there is hostile and when I pulled up I was pointed out by the staff before I came through the door, I seen them all lean in to look at me and have a good laugh. I am totally done with Axels. This is NOT the first time I have had problems. I worked it out with the owner the last time and now this time I'm done. They sell counterfeit items and they don't like their customers. Nuff said. Buh Bye. Um, but, we are likely going to have legal issues if the actual owner doesn't come and pick up these calipers up and refund ALL of my money because I will sue. I am NOT going back to that store ever again. And BTW, I have spent thousands upon thousands in that store over the last 20 years. Addendum to their reply, posted 9-30-2025. I always look at the replies business owners leave customers bad reviews. It's an indication of the true nature of the people their. These people are simply toxic. 100% I talked to Mitutoyo about 2 months ago about these calipers, 2 of them, not one, TWO. I waited to be totally sure these were counterfeit before leaving this review. I haven't been in since? Really! Dozens of times, thousands of $$$ Toxic people lie too. Had I been treated with a modicum of respect since Doug's niece took over, without a doubt I would not have left this review. The bad reviews are stacking up because she has a bad tude. They told my son I'm not allowed their anymore. LOL. They don't get it still. And this is why this business won't survive. I already made it clear I am NOT going back their. Its not MY loss, its theirs. I can get anything they have their elsewhere. They on the other hand have lost income from me! I have spent untold thousands in their store over the last 20 years. The loss is theirs. People vote with their feet. AVOID AT ALL COST!

I got the onn blue Bluetooth speaker and it’s works perfectly! I love it so much! It also has led light on it too! I love this store better than all types of pawn shops. They are super friendly and nice. I recommend to be at this pawn shop instead and it’s cheaper. They also do some discounts as well. Thank me later! Thank you for everything! My rating for this store is 10/10!
