Very nice experience. Dealer was very informative and explained costs for buying and selling. Prices appear comparable to large online dealers. Nice to have a honest local dealer to support.

I discovered this coin shop after winning an auction on a PCGS MS 66 Morgan Silver Dollar. I live in Winchester and discovered that they are next door in Berryville. I visited their store and was impressed with their inventory. Prices are a little high however they did give me a discount as I purchased 5 or 6 coins that day. Overall, a good experience and I will definitely return to shop for new additions to my collection.

Buyer beware. They’re on eBay, list an item in auction and if they don’t get enough money for it they cancel the buyers sale after payment has been made, and try to sell it again for a higher price.. That’s the type of people these are, unscrupulous. I contacted them to relay my concerns and they made an excuse that they had 3 listed for sale at the same time. Unbeknownst to them, there’s a website you can go to and look at prior listings and sale. They had no other 1867 Indian head pennies listed or sold. They basically lied. Just beware, they can’t be trusted so research other places first. I’ve been working in customer service (not coins and completely different industry) and if I treated customers/potential customers this way I’d lose my job and any company would be out of business. There’s numerous coin shops in the area, or on eBay for that matter, that sell for half the price and they happen to be honest and friendly. And it’s unfortunate that they lost a potential customer over what...maybe $30-$40 dollars, even when that potential customer in particular spends $500-$650 a month on building a coin collection for his kids. Terrible business practice.

I decided I was going to take advantage of the recent dramatic price increase on silver and sell a few of my 1oz buffalo heads. I called around to several different places to get prices, and The Family Trust Numismatic offered me the best price of anyone. The gentleman behind the desk was very knowledgeable and friendly to talk with about collecting coins. You can tell he is very passionate about what he does. Overall, it was a very good experience and I will certainly be back, (and maybe, just maybe buy my own silver coins back if the price gets low again.)
