I am so glad we have this business in Fairfax. The owner is knowledgeable and offered a good price for an old gold coin that I had for years. Customers feel comfortable and respected at this business.

Penny Pincher Coins is a top notch coin shop; in fact one of the best in northern Virginia. Shawn is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful in helping the customers acquire the particular coins they are looking for and within budget. Shawn's coin shop has plenty of US coins, foreign coins, and bank notes. There are several bargain bins and buckets of random inexpensive coins, there are ancient coins, there are gold and silver coins. Best yet Shawn gets new coins daily. What more can you ask for? Best coin shop in the area!

This was my first time coming here and the experience was awesome! The clerk was very nice and I got all these currency and coins for only a total of $2! The price is amazing and I will definitely come back again for more collectible currency!

Selling silver dollars. The service was the best. Price was very fair as the reviews stated. I really related well to the whom I dealt wuth, great discussion about my hat.

Horrible customer service. A very unprofessional fella told me he didn't have time to look at a few coins I brought in, and told me to come back some other time, because they were "too busy". There was only two other gentlemen in the store. I just sold my coins for $6,800. Their loss. I wouldn't recommend.

An excellent experience. Gentle and kind to my elderly mother who had some jewelry to sell. The store owner was impressive in his knowledge, ability to explain about the pieces, and just a good guy overall.
