The Gold Vault: Gold & Silver Exchange in Riverton, UT

I would love to review the actual services provided, but they answer the phone and immediately hang up when you call. I doubt I will go in now that they have shown an unwillingness to even answer when called, but if I do I will update this review with how they treat customers in person.

I visited The Gold Vault 3 times in the past month. I brought in a Morgan dollar collection spanning 30 years and Jeremy took the time to look at each one and give me values on every coin separately. 3 of the coins were rare and I was given values far above spot price for silver. I wasn't ready to sell that day and Jeremy still gave me all the attention I needed and didn't make me feel like I was wasting his time. By the way spot price that day was $58. A week later I came in again with another bag of silver coins and waited half an hour to be seen as this store was super busy as spot price for silver was all the way up to $94 that day. Having arrived 40 minutes before closing I was seen just minutes before they closed for the day. They still took the time to help everyone in the store before they closed up. I came back the next day after visiting another gold and silver shop where I was offered considerably less than Jeremy offered me and the store I visited had no customers and they took almost 20 minutes to value 5 coins. I went back and sold my coins at The Gold Vault. I received the highest prices for my silver coins and enjoyed talking with Jeremy who took time after closing to educate me on the buying and selling of precious metals and coins. He even opened the door again for another customer that came 15 minutes after closing and asked the staff to bring items back out for him to look at. Here's the bottom line. Jeremy is an honest business owner and treats his customers well. There are other shops around that are asking sellers to wait for weeks to receive payment for their gold and silver. The Gold Vault has new inventory every day and enjoys an excellent reputation with many long time customers that frequent the store often. I highly recommend The Gold Vault to everyone.

Not only do they do a great job of educating customers but always friendly service with a smile. My family feels welcome and we look forward to visiting looking at the cool stuff in the cases. The prices are always fair. Its a great way for us to invest in our future. Thank you to the owner and staff.

My 93 year old mom had some 1964 Kennedy silver half dollars and thought they may be more than face value. Walked in to the Gold Vault and helped by Aspen who was knowledgeable beyond all expectation. Mom had almost $500 value in the silver coins. Then we asked about value of half sets of earrings and some gold dental crowns. Aspen checked for gold content on the spot and that small pile worth over $600. In and out with over $1100 cash for what we thought might be worth around $250. Wow. Can’t praise these folks high enough

I’ve been coming to The Gold Vault for about a year and have visited multiple shops for comparison. This location has consistently been friendly, patient, and professional. They’re always willing to answer questions and take the time to clearly explain pricing—whether I’m buying or discussing values—and they actually show you what they’re explaining, which makes the process transparent and easy to understand. I originally found them by chance when they were located in Draper, and I’ve continued doing business with them since they moved to Riverton. Every visit has been a positive experience, with a good selection, clear communication, and a straightforward process. Hopefully they’ll open a second location in the future, because they’ve earned my continued business. I’ll definitely keep buying from these guys and would recommend them to anyone looking for a reputable place.
