I like the vibe at Pibs and the clothing selection is pretty great, always stylish if you’re into vintage and retro fashion. I usually leave with something I like. However, lately there are many pieces that feel overpriced for what they are, hence the 4 stars. I’m not inherently against paying more money for certain thrifted items, but I don’t love when something is, IMO, expensive when it’s not in great condition or rare.

Pibs is a nice place to get vintage clothes. But I think advertised address is incorrect. 1147, should be east, not south

I came into Pibs last night 11/19 with my sister to do some shopping, we love this store and always leave with something new to share between our closets! While my sister was in the dressing room trying clothes on I over heard the young girl with dark hair at register talking about a customer she had encountered during the day. She made comments about him being rude and having horrible body odor. Good thing it seemed to be slower than normal not many other people were around at the time to over hear her. Talking poorly about customers without a filter or volume control isn’t qualities I’d look for in my employees to represent my business. Do better pibs.

i used to like the store a lot more. the staff are generally very nice and there is a decent variety in the selection but from my most recent visits, it seems the clothes are less than good condition around 75% of the time. it would be fine IF they weren’t priced as if they are, as most of the items have at least 1 issue. whether it’s an odd smell, stains, tears, peeling or holes, the prices never seem to reflect that. it’s a cute store but it’s best if you discard the thought of thrifting and quality. the best finds i have here are the shoes and items in the counter case.

Pibs Exchange is lit 🔥 with all the variety of old school and vintage unique clothes & items. I'm looking slimmer with their gear. Lol. Thanks.

Very high quality selection with a new rotation of clothes every time I go. The only complaint I have would be the prices on their Tees. $25 is a bit steep for a used shirt. Other than that, I've found great sweaters and coats here and I'm looking forward to their spring summer collection.

I think any vintage/thrift shop will always be a hit or miss. Some days you struck gold and other days you just wasted your time. Depending on what you're looking for you can actually find pretty decent stuff for a fair price. It will always be better than shopping fast fashion these days. Other than that the staff is really nice, always greeted me at the door and the cashier is always chill. finds: -vintage levis, orange tabs, silver etc -100% wool knits, sweaters -genuine leather jackets -lots of wrangler (underrated denim) -designer brands -Japanese selvedge denim -vintage vest (some are tailored, with chains etc) - 90s dr. martens -military surplus trousers, coats -cropped leather jackets -crochet beanie, y2k beanie, cadet caps Note: -Shop at mens denim, the womens jean selection is ok. -The rack of clothes to the left when you walk in is usually where i find lot of interesting stuff and most likely to struck gold there -they seem to restock often so check every other week -i dont think i would recommend shopping for t shirts, they go at wild prices and most of the time its not worth it -some pieces arnt vintage even if its marked as is - always check for stains, missing buttons/pieces, loose thread and decide if thats a deal breaker
