Always a pleasure to shop at Uptown. I have discovered some of my most treasured fashion pieces there! The prices? Unbelievably low!!! And the staff is consistently kind, helpful and fiercely gorgeous.

Found a “vintage” top that I can not wait To wear! I love standing out and wearing things others don’t. I paid around $14 and when I googled It - this top is from 90’s /Y2K era- they say it’s vintage and I take offense (I was born in the 80’s) lol but I love this top! To me it’s a one of a kind find!

Great assortment - unique clothes at reasonable price. Employees are friendly qnd helpful without being pushy. Best shopping experience Ive had in a while.

They take FOREVER to go through your clothes, by the time they finish you’ve already spent money in the store and they barely offer you anything! I had Levi’s, Nordstrom, and other high end brands but they didn’t offer me much. After the fact you’re tired and annoyed so you just tell them to donate the rest. Absolutely horrible selection…they have tons of pretty little things clothes and not good vintage clothes. The men section is trash! I really really really dislike this place.

Uptown Cheapskate in Austin is a fantastic spot for trendy, affordable, and sustainable fashion finds! 👟 From casual wear to designer pieces, there’s always a great variety. The staff is welcoming and helpful, and its convenient location makes it perfect for a fun day of shopping and exploring the city.

I dropped off 4 large bags with a wide variety of items, some luxury some more modest, and they ended up taking about 30% of my items, which I was super happy with! They offered me a very fair price in return, and despite the high volume of items had a quick turn around time. I dropped everything off around 1PM on Wed 1/14 and it was ready around 3:15. I spent almost all of what they paid for my items in store lol, their selection is soooo good! Lots of great quality vintage, athletic wear, and SHOESSS! Highly recommend recycling your items and shopping here! Everybody in the store was very helpful and kind as well.
