Do not shop from this place! Jewelry is fake! I brought a supposedly sterling silver necklace and in one month it turned!! Definitely scammers!
Absolutely had no issues prior until today. I feel like i was racially profiled. I canceled a layaway that they could not find. Then she informed that i already used my store credit. She additionally requested and wrote down my DL number
First of all, they call themselves "May's Jewelry" in Sumter Mall. Directly across from the respectable "Kay's Jewelry". That being said, I myself have a distinct familiarity of, as well as practice the art of a true bench jeweler and know noble metals more than the average "Joe". I cannot stand peeps that take advantage of the nieve. A friend told me of an interaction with them that infuriated me. To be fair, I made my own introductions. Here goes... on a Sunday, with most gold buyers in the vicinity closed:; I called the store to specifically ask if they would buy gold and could guarantee 80% of spot (daily value of gold ) I was told "yes". I brought to them a plain gold 10k band of 2.78grams. They offered $20. Needless to say I recorded the entire interrelation and plan to make sure the world knows how they are. I never planned to sell it anyway, just prove a point. They are thieves. Scammers.
Very bad customer service. I purchased a necklace, it pop, payed to get repaired and it was not repaired as promised. The lady with dark hair and mark on the right cheek had the nastiest attitude and thought she was going to yell at me. I don't care if you agree or disagree with a customer you never give attitude or yell at them. All she wanted to keep saying is that it's jewelry it's going to break. Lady I'm not going to keep fixed this and you're not going to speak to me unprofessionally. Please don't purchased from this place.
I’ve been shopping here a while. Seems like people are mad that they don’t get $20k for a $600 piece. These people definitely is not racist. My wife is white and im AA and they treated us both respectfully. Very sweet people and very fast with business. If you’re looking for jewelry and not drug money,this is your place!!!!…..Definitely recommend!!!
