Paul was great! He took his time explaining everything and was very patient. He was able to fix our watch.

After researching a place to sell our jewelry, we decided on The Exchange. Best experience ever. Paul was outstanding. If you have to sell jewelry or coins, check them out first. You will not be disappointed!! Bobbi

Please do not go here, nasty attitudes. Unwelcoming to people of color. Greeted the white man who came in but I received the “what do you want” attitude. Flat out rude!! Take your business somewhere else. This place made me feel so unwelcome it was as if they wanted to say we don’t accept your kind here. No hello when you walk in. Should’ve just payed attention to the other reviews. Added response! Your response telling me to “take your problems somewhere else” was unprofessional, dismissive, and unacceptable. Given the context of my experience, your comment came across as racially insensitive and reflects a lack of respect and accountability. My review is an accurate account of what occurred. Customers deserve to be treated with professionalism and respect, not dismissed when raising legitimate concerns. I stand by my review and hope you take this seriously and reflect on how you address customers moving forward.

I visited the Exchange Inc a few days ago for the first time. I had been looking for a coin buying spot as they typically give more for bullion and bars than just the spot price. I brought in silver coins and bars and the owner (Who is actually the original owners son), was very arrogant. I had visited a shop prior and was missing one of my 1oz bars, I was confused about the situation and didn’t want to make any assumptions about the last place, so I asked the owner to weigh my bars to confirm and he kept being weird and not wanting to weigh them thinking that I was trying to somehow scam him…(you can’t be scammed if you haven’t bought anything). Through some back and forth he finally weighs them and confirms i am missing a bar. After some phone calls and finding the missing bar in my car seat, i return to sell. He offers me $905 for 21oz. I decline and ask to meet at $935, he tells me “due to the drama i brought in” he would like to stay at 905 unless I buy something from him. I decline his extortion tactic and go on to sell my metal for $1000 at Yates in Ewing. You see this attitude in these types of places often at coin spots and pawn shops, and it’s typically to control the room and the sale. I think it’s important that people looking to buy or sell, find a fair a judgment free zone to consistently trade with. I recommend Yates in Ewing, NJ.

Stopped by there today with some antique watches. Paul was so kind, looked through them and basically said they were valuable, but had more sentimental valuable than monetary. We asked about some coins. He said to bring them back and we found out they were quite valuable. He wrote us a check right there. No pressure, very personable. He also has a great collection of items for sale. It’s easy to get to, very secure. He’s good people.

These people are nothing but gracious and pleasant and experienced with what they do. I have referred friends of mine there because I knew they would be treated very kindly. If you don’t have nothing nice to say, keep it shut. No one really needs to hear such negativity about a family just trying to do what they do and hopefully steering clear of people that are just looking for a fight. You reap what you sow ladies and gentlemen. Be kind be happy. Peace.
