Highly professional long established somewhat quirky but very knowledgeable. You won't find better in the Tri-State area.

It's getting two and not one because it's an impressive collection but something not right about the employees there. Was in the store today and I watched The Man Behind the Counter who was not the owner lie to an Asian woman and tell her that some of her silver was fake. I then brought him a piece of my own I knew to be real and he performed the same "test" and told me mine was fake too. The owner approached and reassured me my silver was in fact real but the woman had already left the store believing her silver to be fake. This wasn't just a careless mistake.

Frank is a great guy. Straight forward fair prices when selling or buying. Have bought several coins from him used in my jewelry making.

Two people recommended these guys when I had gold to sell, and indeed they are. Unfortunately I sold some pieces at a reputable jewelry store's buying event and they paid far less than Coins and Currency. It's definitely worth the drive -- they aren't super close to me, but I think they paid at least 30% more, I trust them completely, and they are a pleasure to deal with. P.S. He has better prices than the most reputable online gold buyers/sellers like Apmex, JM Bullion, and Silver GoldBull, at least what I was looking at.

I've dealt with Frank for about 10 years. Always fair. Very knowledgeable and willing to explain. I think a lot of time.people forget that a business like this has to resell at a profit so naturally you won't get top price. Do some research and you won't be disappointed.

My goodness, what an exceptional experience with Frank at Coins and Currency of Wayne today! I brought him a large coin collection I recently inherited from my mom’s estate, and emailed to give him a heads up the other day about the collection. He was exceptionally nice, efficient, and well versed beyond compare regarding the coins in my collection. The shop was very busy between phone calls and other customers coming in, but Frank kept things moving and gave everyone in the shop the same kindness and professionalism I experienced. I was extremely pleased with his offer, and am hoping to come back to sell him some gold jewelry in the near future. You will not find anyone kinder or more well versed in coins and currency in the area. We also shared some laughs and great conversation, and his taste in music is top notch!
