Great shop! The owner is knowledgeable and friendly. In addition to coins and jewelry, there are antiques and collectibles to browse. It's a nice shop with fair prices. Definitely worth a stop if you're a collector.
Brought my Morgan dollars in to augustaustus to have appraised for sale. A gentleman I was very friendly, an informative. We came to an agreement on my price. And we made a deal would recommend to anyone to come here to sell anything. They have that he purchases.
First time I went here was to sell some coins and the guy was amazing. He really knew his prices. He was fair and told me straight up what was pretty much good and to just keep or sell. He told me what to hold onto in case it goes up and I appreciated the honesty.

I’ve delt with many businesses that deserve a 5 star rating. August Jewlers needs a new rating system. 6 stars is not enough. Honest, friendly, professional and knowledgeable. You will not find a more pleasant place to buy or sell precious metals. I did a lot of math before going in. Adding things up and trying to figure out what percent I might get for my silver coins. Turns out I didn’t need to do all that work. He added them all up and gave me a price I would have been ashamed to ask for. Simply amazing. I can not recommend highly enough. This level of integrity is hard to find.
