Just a pawn shop nothing more, nothing special. Extremely rude, brutish older female clerk. Disgusting prices on gold and silver. Do not take your gold or precious metals here.

This is the first negative review I have ever left and I don’t enjoy hurting small businesses. When silver was 112 an ounce, I called the shop from 175 miles away where I live and asked what they were paying. I was told they couldn’t give me an exact price, because silver was jumping all over. I told them there was a local business that would pay $15.00 back on spot, the lady said, we can do much better than that, just come on in. So I drove all the way to bend the very next day. Silver was at $111 an ounce and I waited in a fairly long line. There was a middle aged guy behind the counter that was very sure of himself, like he was working for Warren buffet talked to a couple of younger gentlemen, one was trying to sell his silver and another was interested in buying. The cocky guy said, we are paying $88.00 and ounce and the other kid said, what are you selling for? The guy said spot. I understand they have to make money and have inventory, but that was a rip off. While I was in line, I said ‘ sir, did I hear you correctly that you are paying $88?’ He said ‘yep’ that’s what we are paying. I said thank you go out of line and as I was going out the door, he said ‘you have a great day’ on my way out of town, I stopped at bend pawn shop to see what they were paying and they were paying $95.00 and ounce. It’s pretty bad when a pawn shop is paying $7.00 an ounce more than a shop that specializes in precious metals. Like I said, I don’t like to leave negative reviews, but it upset me to drive 175 miles and being promised they could do better than I was offered locally and then to have to listen to that guy trying to justify why he was ripping off some kid. I tried to deal with these guys years ago and I thought I would give them another chance. Before they respond, there was no misunderstanding. I could have saved my gas money and a day of my time. If you are a serious or even a small time player. DO NOT SELL TO THEM, you will give ripped off. a pawn shop will give u a better price!

They shorted the weight of my gold lol. Said it was 8 grams but was 8.2 also offered me 120 less than what I got for it somewhere else. Sketchy workers total scammers. Literally tried stealing .2

I went in to get a coin appraised because I saw it worth a lot online. The lady was rude, snappy, and treated my friends and I were idiots for coming to check. Simple information without being condescending would have worked just fine.

My transaction with this business involved a small wait time while they shipped my bulk coins to an east coast partner. Everyone was very professional and communication was extremely responsive. This team knows what they are doing. I highly recommend this well established and professional business. Purchase offer was fair value.

Called in with some questions about antiques, and they were amazing with helping me! They even directed me towards someone who would help get information on it. That screams trustworthy to me, when they have an opportunity to tell me whatever price and buy it off me, but instead tell me to gather more info for my sake, and even directed me where to get that info. Then explained they would love to do business if that didn't work. Outstanding business practice that is very rarely seen today. Thank you for being trustworthy and helping!

Seller Beware: Offer was only 30% of spot value. ​I came here specifically because the shop told my father they would beat refinery prices (70% of spot). However, after verifying the weight and purity of my gold jewelry, they offered me only 30% of the current spot price. In my opinion, these are predatory low-ball offers that seem to target uninformed or desperate sellers. Please do your research and get a second quote before selling to this establishment.

I strongly recommend this business. To put it in context, my family dates back over 125 years in Oregon, spread across the entire state, East-to-West. I spent almost a year asking around for recommendations for who I might go to in helping me liquidate an older family collection, with some complexity associated with it. A number of recommendations came back for Mountain High, above that of larger, more well-known businesses in the Valley. As such, I went to them and they were lavish with both their time appraising the collection, as well as helping inform my father-in-law about its value. I came away with more than just a fair market value – more importantly I came away with trust and a sense of over-the-top fairness. They have earned every minute of their decades of reputation, and I would have zero hesitation returning to them again for my PM or numismatic needs.
