I stopped in to sell a piece of jewelry. Had my puppy with me, so I was expecting in and out real fast. However, Denny and a young man who I see often in the coin shop didn't hurry us. They both talked to me about my puppy and gave him attention. They conversed about gold rates and coins and included me in the conversation. It felt relaxed and comfortable. I would go again and suggest it as a stopping place if you have an interest in selling or buying coins or gold.
Told me I'd get at least $21 a coin when I came back from salem the next day they offered me $412 instead of the $525 minimum offer the previous day and had me wait around all day.
I want to say thank you Denny for taking the time and go over each coin out of the 29 I brought in and giving a fair price. To top it off you found there was more value to be had and made good on it. This is rare nowadays and you've definitely earned my business in the future. Thanks
Great family business, father to son. Father was a wealth of information in his day and inspired my love personally many years ago for junk silver. He has since passed. His son is fantastic however, funny, Very fair and patient... Even with an hour of silver dimes to count once. He still entertains a loyal group of locals, who I'm assuming are his father's friends, in the shop fairly regularly and the whole place erupts into hilarity. I find myself wishing during my busy days there exchanging coinage, the few times I've had too, that I had longer business to attend there just so I can hang out with them all like I useto, and forget the crazy modern world outside. It's a little bit tight in there, I do not recommend bringing a wheelchair, but even for me, its never been panic inducing, just a very close cozy if there are many visitors. Love the weenie pups too! But I always love those mini people pups!
