Have been here a handful of times and Ottawa Gold used to be my go to spot for gold and silver Universal Coins has beaten them when it comes to price (and location for me) Staff are friendly and professional They take cash or card and deal out likewise with paperwork when requested If you are unsure like I was before my first visit give them a phone call during their open hours with any questions (worked for me)

I've been a regular at this store for more than a year now, and I cannot recommend it more. Their pricing literally blows all the other coin stores out of the water, and the amount of variety makes the buyer experience extremely enjoyable and fun. It almost brings the anticipation of hunting for treasure when searching through their junk silver bin, or old world coin bin, and even flipping through binders. You never know what you might find, and I always find great things. The employees at this store and even other customers are the nicest and most accommodating people. They are very understanding, generous and kind, and they know their stuff. It's always a joy to go there, and I don't regret a single purchase I've made there, especially at their amazing price points. Five stars!

If your a silver stacker, this isn’t the place to go. There silver was nothing like online picture. No selection, just a few buffalos, maple leafs and a coin with a compass on it. No bars, no gold. Really boring 🥱 selection.

Would not recommend selling here. Came with a binder of Canadian silver coins, silver and a stack of older banknotes. Coins were bought at a fair offer not great but not bad. Silver was bought at melt, fair. Predatory behavior was then displayed at banknotes. Probably gem and many uncirculated, fancy serials. Offered face value on 30s to 70s banknotes.
