My husband and I visited the store in North Bay, Ontario on Thursday, Feb. 19, 2026 with some coins, stamps, watches and costume jewellery. We heard about them through friends who had a great experience so we thought to give them a try. We ended up selling most of what we brought because of their knowledge and experience. Jacob was very thorough going through the jewellery and gave me a fair price. The man who assisted my husband with the coins, stamps and watches took his time and educated us on some items. All in all, it was enjoyable and educational. We will definitely be going back with more treasures.

Hello friends! I had a great experience at North Bay Stamp and Coin earlier today. Before going, I read many of their Google reviews and was amazed by how well-respected they are. I wanted to figure out the approximate value of my coins and bank notes and consider selling to them. They were beyond fair. They could have easily taken me to the cleaners, but they operate professionally, ethically and respectfully. They are also very kind, personable people. After a complete assessment of everything, they asked what I thought they would pay. I said $500. AFTER I said that, they offered over $1400, and they even helped me choose the best single bank note to keep as a remembrance. I can't thank Jatin and Jacob enough. I left exceedingly happy, and this review is the very least I can do for these kind, honorable folks. Thank you North Bay Stamp and Coin. It's so nice to see how you all carry on the legacy of Jeannine Lemay. All the best my friends!

I’d reached out through Facebook to replace a treasured coin that had been misplaced. Response time was quick despite it being a Thanksgiving weekend. En-route the original was found but I had planned on buying both they had available. I bought one as a backup and the process was so quick and painless. I didn’t get any names but the service was great and very welcoming. It’s clear that they enjoy what they do and sharing history. They have so many stunning items and I know we’ll be back. Such a pleasure to do business with.

If we could give a 100 star's to north bay stamp and coin shop i would. We had the best experiences of selling our coins. They are friendly and knows exactly what they are doing. I love how they explain most of the coins with us and why its worth what its worth. I felt save in there shop with everything I had on hand. I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Jatin, Joey and Joan yesterday at their beautiful place of business. It was an exciting and educational experience selling gold jewellery that I had accumulated over many many years. I had been watching the gold and silver market over the past months so I knew their prices were totally fair and honest. They made a business transaction fun. I also spoke to them about some old coins that I will be selling in the future. They gave me good advice in regards to them. It is so refreshing to have confidence in someone’s knowledge that can help you realize the truth in what you have to potentially sell. I would 100% recommend North Bay Stamp and Coin if you’re a first time seller like I was, or if you’re a veteran. You’ll feel welcome and you’ll walk away thinking I need to search the house for more gold so I can go back!!!!

Sold some gold jewelry and coins. Fair price paid for the items. Easy going environment. No pushy sales. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. They also have a good selection of quality (preowned) products ( jewelry, coins, watches, etc.) for sale. The owners are credible and have a kind demeanour. Thanks for the great experience!
