I shop here all the time but it seems like the customer service gets worse and worse. They only have one or two people ever working the gun counter and sometimes you'll wait over an hour before anyone even acknowledges you're there.

Always a good place to go spend money. Kids enjoy it too.
Selection is second to none in the area. Some prices are a little high, but competitive. They often have special deals for a good price. I got a 3700 size fishing lure box for about $7. They are about $12 on the lower end on Amzn right now. Saw some good prices on rods. Reel selection for the brand I was looking for is only 1 at about 4x my price range, and way more reel than I need. The new season designs will probably come out soon and stock should follow. Bought a Citadel boss 25 semi automatic shotgun. Took it to the range couldn't be happier with it. Fired flawless, 5+1 magazine. Perfect home defense. A m16 style 12 gage shotgun. The Bass Pro staff were extremely helpful. Going shooting again
Everything was neat and restrooms are clean all of the employees are super nice especially April. She was so nice to take me over to the section to where I wanted to shop!
I went to Bass Pro today and had the worst shopping experience that I have ever had. Their POS systems are extremely antiquated. The staff is not properly trained, and the systems that they have in place to handle customer service are terrible. While I was there attempting to make a purchase there were at least 8 other people waiting in line to be helped. My purchase alone took about 90 minutes. I finally saw two of the guys just turn around and leave. Apparently, it is their practice to handle one customer at a time no matter how long that takes. At one point I had 3 employees trying to figure out how to handle my simple purchase. I will never go back to Bass Pro ever again. From now on Scheels will get all of my business.
We recently visited Bass Pro looking for a go kart this Christmas, and sadly they did not have any, only four wheelers. That was okay, we knew it was a long shot. Bass Pro is a fun shop to meander through anyways. When visiting, we love stopping by and checking out the fish tanks and looking at the trout pond. Its cool to ride the glass see-through elevators. We did try going by Santa's Wonderland but it was completely full and quite chaotic on a Saturday evening. So we ended up just browsing the entire store. It has a little bit of everything and almost anything you'd need for an outdoor adventure. Some prices are steep though-- even on sale. I will add in that we personally did like that they sold Grunt Style clothing and a few things from Black Rifle Coffee Company. However, prices were still kind of steep. For reference, the same size pack of coffee costing $17.99 is $12.99 at Walmart. But they did offer cups and hats that you wouldn't be able to find in Walmary either, only online. Soo it has it's pros and cons. Overall, Bass Pro is a fun shop, we don't always go but when we visit, we still have a good time! Their Christmas decorations makes the trip even more festive during the Holiday Season!
