Joe seemed very knowledgeable and fair. Had my mothers ring to sell almost 1 carat. Priced around a few places his price was best and he took time to explain and answer my questions which other places would not do!

First time seller to American Gold Buyers... I took some unwanted jewelry I had that I no longer needed or used and was very pleased with the amount of money I was offered! I also was very pleased to see this business actually had their certificates displayed for the customers/public to see. If you don't see the certificates displayed at a business you don't want to do business with them! I was also pleased to see this business owner take pictures of the jewelry that I was selling to insure their safety of items that could possibly be stolen! If you ever deal with a business owner who doesn't do this, you don't want to be doing business with that owner!!! I was very pleased with this business and the knowledge he taught me on jewelry and selling items!!! I definitely recommend this business to anyone looking to sell items or even if you're interested in looking for coins or other items in that category to purchase! Plus they have been doing business for many years and are well trusted!!!

Avoid!! avoid!! avoid!! avoid!! avoid!! avoid!! avoid. There are too many other legit businesses right down the street.I really wonder how this place stays in business. I take coins up there and he put some on a scale, then tells me that they have a good chance of being counterfeit because of the weight after I taught him about his own profession he had no clue what he was talking about he tried telling me Ike dollars are 90% silver, which is why the weight was off after explaining To him ike dollars are 40% silver. In other words, they don’t have a clue what they are doing. They are just trying to rip people off that are hard of for money or don’t know any better.

Just had an amazing experience with American Gold Buyers! Joe was very nice and helpful. Traded in some old jewelry I no longer wear and got some extra spending money 💰🥰

Don’t usually review but in this case I am. Joe the mgr at American explained to me, without having to ask, everything about my jewelry and testing. Didn’t push me to sell, just explained it all and told me a price. Very respectful. And the price was much higher than the nearby jewelry store had offered me!! The jewelry store made me feel pushed and that I was taking up time. I had several heavy pieces and Joe carefully took his time. His care was a bonus!
