I called American Gold Refinery and made an appointment, when I arrived I was met by Alex he said come right in you spoke to me this morning we sat in a private. I had a bag of bites a peaces of gold and my wife was on the speaker phone. Then I met Monte, who gave me a quote at around 95% of the spot price. I was a bit taken aback at first at the reception area, which could be a bit chaotic (with customers and their own people going in and out), crowded, and a bit messy--like an old office with lots of paperwork piled up (but instead of paperwork, old silverware). Don't let this bother you (I did at first, so I left, but ended up coming back as the other places I checked did not put me at ease)-- they just have a lot of different clients.
