Beautiful shop, interesting curiosities and a generous, gracious host. Stop by for a visit.

This was a great experience where we were able to find pieces to which we never had access to previously. A year or so ago, our first visit to Sal's art gallery was an incredibly similar experience--we were in paradise! We have visited the shop multiple times in the past few months and we are always amazed at the turnover of merchandise, and the consistent addition of pieces equal to or better than the ones sold. There are wonderful paintings from many different periods by many Who's Who artists. The sculptures are bronze, stone, antlers & bone, wood, marble, iron, pot metals, plaster and mixed media. The furniture pieces are both large and small with many beautiful chests and wall pieces available. The light fixtures are excellent and fit in many different places inside and outside the home. He has a very nice collection of watches and jewellery where it is hard to decide which one you like the best! There are religious pieces that are really special and are serious works of art. Since you are in Santa Fe, there are also select pieces of Native American art in many forms. In short, if you can't find an item you love here, Sal will take you to one of his warehouses to find exactly what you do want--he has been collecting for years and has "the eye" for the special, wonderful or unique (in the true definition of the word). If you are making a trip to Santa Fe, make certain you stop in here. It is very easy to find on one of the "main streets" of the city. Parking is available in front and in the back. By the way, his wife has a great woman's shop next to his. I promise that you will not be disappointed. The prices are excellent for what you are buying. By now, you should realize that this is not a junk shop or a souvenir joint! Have a great time!

On my recent visit to Santa Fe I was fortunate enough to find Sal Hamdy Antiques…I loved his store and his beautiful antiques. Sal is very knowledgeable about antiques and it was really interesting when he answered my questions about different pieces. Sal's store is a treasure filled with amazing one of a kind pieces. Sal has been a pleasure. He is open, honest, friendly and a man of integrity which makes working with him a rewarding and enjoyable experience.

Both stores, consignment 801 and Sal Hamdy antiques are beautiful and amazing stores. After shopping all of Santa Fe, we finally came across these lovely stores which completely changed our trip for the better. The owners of both shops were so helpful and interesting. It was a true pleasure to meet them, and look forward to returning to the area again very soon.

Sals store is absolutely amazing. His customer service is even better. Right when me and my mother pulled up to pick up a large piece of furniture he was outside greeting us immediately. He helped me load the furniture and secured the load down himself. Amazing. I highly recommended you check out his store if you are in Santa Fe. You won’t regret it.
