This place is such a find! If you enjoy an old-school classic diner this is your spot! My waitress was super awesome! She made up for the rude woman that brought us to our table. I ordered the crab cake sandwich and honesty it was the best crab cake iv ever had! We will probably stop here again on our way home and I will definitely be ordering the crab cakes again! ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ฆ I also ordered the chicken noodle soup which you can tell is homemade! The fried mushrooms where also very good!๐๐๐๐ The Greek salad was also very very good! 9/10!
Amazing food is great and yummy!!!!! The staff is good n very quick handled everything we asked and the place is cool had a few mins wait but I can see why!!! I would wait again n longer if need be.... 10 out 10 we will be back next weekend thanks all at sliver coin!!!!!!!
Had table side seating. Was fairly busy around 5, but when we left around 6 it was packed. Service was polite and attentive. Had a young blonde waitress who recommended the breakfast foods. When you get the check you bring it to the register to pay. There's free wifi. Plates look fairly large but it's manageable if you're hungry. Had the silver coin special breakfast - was a nice variety of typical diner food. 'Made it platinum' for the upcharge, but only got the French toast slice, not the extra toast. Used the ketchup on the table with my hash browns but I think the ketchup had sat too long in the sunlight and went a bit sour. Silver coin bass ale battered haddock (Friday special menu) - deep fried fish was nice. Crisp and not oily. Picked spinach and mashed potatoes as sides, wasn't seasoned. Used table salt and pepper. Thought the spinach was a bit over boiled. House salad, picked Greek dressing but it didn't really feel any Greek to it, was expecting more acidity from olives or something. May have just been a lot of olive oil, probably should have gotten Caesar dressing instead because it was very oily. Blueberry tart was nice, blueberries were good and the syrup wasn't too sweet. The crust was crumbly and base/body felt more like cheesecake than just straight blueberry syrup. Was comfortably air conditioned. Had a comfortable conversation volume.
This was my first time visiting the place and I was impressed with the service. An older woman served us and she was very friendly. I loved the food and I wouldn't hesitate to stop by again if I visit the area in the future.
My family of 6 were seated in a booth where the cold air from the vents made it extremely uncomfortable to enjoy, when we let our waitress know if it could be turned down alittle we were told that's how it is in here. The booth we were seated was dirty from guest before us. We told the staff about it and they send a staff member to clean it but they didnt do a great job. Staff didn't make us feel welcoming, not one smile from anyone, and it felt more like we were being rush to eat and leave. The food was good, pancakes and bacon egg and chesse sandwich were delicious. Plenty of parking around the diner.
