Called about a certain coin and wasn't very knowledgeable
My son recently got into coin collecting and I don’t know much about it. I took my son a few other places, but will never go anywhere else again. The owner was very friendly and knowledgeable and as we were walking out, my son even said something to me about how nice he was.
This store was completely helpful from start to end. Unlike some places that try to be pushy fred just wanted to make sure I was happy with whatever I wanted and exceeded my expectations. This is truly one of the nicest small town coin shop I've ever been to in my 25+ years of collecting. Hes open Monday Wednesday and Friday but call ahead cause he was there today and that was a big plus for me.
Stopped by one afternoon while in town for business. The collection is on the smaller side, but it's an ideal little shop if you're looking for Gold/Silver American Eagles. I really enjoyed the store's atmosphere and decoration. Fred was very kind, and our deal was no fuss. I will definitely shop again if I'm ever in town again.
I have been to Fred's twice and he has been excellent to deal with both times. I was given a small family coin collection I did not want to keep and he looked through everything and made a fair offer. While I may have been able to shop around and get a few dollars more, Fred is a small business and is very honest. I felt good about our deal and it saved me time to be able to cash out easily. I would highly recommend him!
Been going here 3+ years now, always have been able to buy coins from Fred. Decided that he didn’t want to sell to me anymore since he is “saving coins for other customers”, even though I’ve spent thousands with him every year. Easiest way to lose a consistent and life long buyer and taint your reputation in this business.
