After my own experience and after reading recent reviews, I am compelled to offer my own review. I sought a quote from Apmex for silver coins and silver bars. Most of the silver had been originally purchased from Apmex and was intact in original mint sleeves. The offer I received this morning was, honestly, insulting. So, I went to a trusted local dealer, and they paid me $5 per ounce more for what Apmex called generic rounds, $4 per ounce more for Maple Leafs, and $2 more per ounce for the remaining coins. I walked away with nearly $1,000 more from my local dealer. While market pricing varies by the minute, the comparisons I am making were all in a one hour period from the time I received Apmex's order, and market pricing had changed very little. APMEX, you can and should do better!

I shipped Apmex 450 ounces of silver and they received it on January 16th, 2026. I have yet to receive payment for the silver. It is now February 10th, 2026 and still waiting. You will hear excuse after excuse concerning the delay in payment. I will never deal with them again and highly discourage others from dealing with them.

This is the worst place ever! It has been two weeks and they still have not deposited our money. First they messed up the shipping labels, so my husband literally took the gold/silver to them, following their own instructions. Their employee took the gold/silver to the wrong department. They send him some janky quote for scrap metal. He had to call them to get it figured out, because now it was "lost". They finally locate it, days later, and tell my husband they will have to evaluate it and will deposit the money, but no deposit takes place. When he calls, the girl on the phone gets an attitude with him because he wants to know why the money isn't in the bank yet. Come to find out, they took down the wrong banking information...yeah right! Mind you, no one calls to communicate anything, he has had to stay on top of them this whole time and still, after filing complaint, and them stating they'd take care of it right away...still no money. At this point, I think they're trying to steal it. No financially ran institution can make this many mistakes and not be trying to scam someone. Something isn't right with these people. I'll be filing a complaint with the BBB now too. Update: BBB complaint filed. They finally put the money in the bank today, but only after my husband called 3 more times and them still not correcting the bank info. Unbelievable!

It is day 15 after they received my package and I still have not received payment. They claimed I was one coin short, but I was extremely careful in making an inventory of everything that packaged. It is impractical to dispute this since it’s only a silver coin, but I feel cheated out of $85 for a single silver coin. Won’t be using them again. This was my first and last sale to them.

I would love to give them zero stars. They don't ship items out punctually. My order has been moved 3 times. I ordered ahead of time and it said would ship the 17th, after moving back the date 3 times I'm now expecting a ship date of January 2nd at the earliest. Now I'm out of gifts for Christmas and new years. I used to buy from here years back until I ran into the same issue with extra long shipping times. Figured I'd give them another chance. Use SDbullion for your gold and silver needs instead.
