Warren was such a pleasure to work work with. I reached out to discuss an old coin collection from my great-grandparents. He was knowledgeable, kind and was gracious enough to meet me and my mom on a weekend. Highly recommend contacting NH Rare Coins.

I have known and dealt with Warren and David C. since about 1996 and I have yet to have an unsatisfactory dealing with them in the realm of graded U.S. rare coins. My biggest mistake at the beginning of a flurry of coins purchases was not to have dealt with them exclusively and from the early days onward. The Silver and Gold Report pointed me in their direction, but I had already spent about $100k of personal money on an overall sad sack of not the greatest rare coins. These guys are not only two of the best numismatists in the country, but they are above-board in all dealings and truly honest, that last trait not even close to being the case for many, many rare coin dealers. Why I have seen David Carleton almost jump out of the office window to help an old lady cross the street in Milford. Kidding, but these two dealers are now my friends over several decades and if you can't kid a friend, who can you kid?? Use RCNH and forget the rest out there, your pocketbook and happiness with thank you. It literally takes decades to become an expert numismatist and few of us have the time, the breath of material to review, and possibly the innate talent to attain this level of knowledge.

The best rare coin dealer in New England. Joe and his team were professional, knowledgeable and fair in the assessment and purchase of our rare coin collection. Located close to Massachusetts - worth the drive. A+

βοΈβ˜†β˜†β˜†β˜† Review for Rare Coins of Milford, NH I want to start by saying this review is not written out of spite, but out of disappointment and respect for the owner Warren who I understood ran a reputable business. I was referred here by someone who’s a friend of Warren, the owner, which makes it even more unfortunate that the experience went the way it did. The people on the phone were amazingly nice and informative. We scheduled an appointment for a free appraisal ensuring time would be taken on each piece, and took the risk of transporting a substantial amount of high-value gold ...including mostly collectible and limited-edition pieces with the expectation of a professional evaluation. Instead, we were met with agitation and an attitude that was anything but professional. The individual who assisted us (Joe, I think) was arrogant, impatient, and dismissive. He didn’t take the time to inspect the coins or verify the unique pieces we brought. He simply added up the ounces and offered numbers that were well below spot value, completely ignoring the collectible or numismatic premiums attached to several of our items. I could have done this myself from home. They knew exactly why we took the risk of transporting these and traveled 1hr to get there. "Joe" undervalued our entire inventory by not hundreds, but double-digit thousands of dollars. The evaluation sheet we were given is not something I can even use to prove value for property offers or financial purposes. It lacks the detail, legibility, documentation, and accuracy you’d expect from any serious "appraisal." This was anything but that; more like a generalized lowball insulting offer you'd expect at a low-grade pawn shop. Out of respect for my friend who knows the owner and recommended this shop, I don’t fault the owner personally ...but if this is the kind of behavior and lack of care being displayed by employees representing the business, it’s important that people know. Customers trust coin dealers with very valuable property. That trust should be met with professionalism, courtesy, and expertise ....not arrogance and lowball tactics. I sincerely hope this review reaches the owner Warren directly. The reputation of his shop depends on the people he chooses to represent it. Unfortunately I would never go back here nor could I recommend anyone else do so either. I do intend to take this up with the owner in hopes he can right this wrong β€”and if so, I will remove this review. Reviews are everything these days.

Warren at Rare Coins of New Hampshire was super helpful when he took the time to go through an entire coin collection my brother-in-law left his family. He explained the values clearly, answered our questions, and made the process easy to understand. At the end, he gave a no-pressure offer that felt more than fair. We really appreciated his time, honesty, and expertiseβ€”highly recommend.
