I very seldom have bad experiences but this one takes the cake. I called this shop and spoke to the owner and asked him what they are paying on gold gram bars right now and he said 95% of spot, he said to come down. I made it there in 15 minutes, now remember this is my first time being in his shop. He is extremely rude and then tells me “the best I can do is 90%” I told him he just told me to come down and pays 95%. His response? “Well That’s subject to change” I didn’t need to waste my time nor his. He must have said at least 3 times “you don’t know what it’s like to be a gold dealer”!! Screaming at the top of his lungs. I would expect that from a young adult not a grown man. Well no Bob, and from meeting with you I clearly don’t need to know. I’m an honest person and if he had said I can only do 90% I would have not made the trip. It’s dishonest at best and deceptive at worst. I told him that’s not good business and I would be writing a review and he said go ahead. The man needs to take some time off, by reading some other reviews he is extremely rude, this isn’t a one time thing. I would not return for any reason.

Bob is a businessman & very direct but don't take it personal. I wanted to swap silver and he indicated there was too much of my product on the market resulting in low offer. 9 months later I was pleased with the swap. I remember the only one forcing me to trade was me. Very happy with honest discourse.

So far every coin I’ve purchased from Bob and his wife has been worth more than what I paid for them…PERIOD! 10 coins purchased so far and each one was a great deal! Bob is very knowledgeable, kind and fair. His wife is also. If anyone has old coins to bring in to sell him just remember,it doesn’t matter what you saw on EBay. It doesn’t matter if the same type of coin you have, sold on EBay for such and such amount of money. It doesn’t matter because every coin is graded differently and the little things matter. One error, variety or mint mark can make the difference between a $2 and $2,000 sale. Remember that the person you are selling to is a dealer and he needs to make money too. I hate that some people have a hard time understanding this. If you need to make EXACTLY what your coins are worth than you can try your luck on EBay. But good luck because there are many shysters on that site. Thank you Bob and family. I appreciate that there is a coin dealer in town that knows his stuff and isn’t out to take my shirt. Seriously I knew very little and he still treated me very well. I don’t even question the price when I buy from him. Ever. I only wish the dealers on EBay conducted themselves the same way. Thanks a million!
