This place is pretty awesome when it comes to making money. He offers the most around for silver; pure or sterling. He is willing to negotiate with you to make the sale. He gave me 5$ for .50 cent pieces. The owner even stayed 15 minutes passed closing to help me out. Not to mention the inventory is huge.

I’ve only been collecting a couple years so I’m still in need of professional honest opinions and guidance. Ken was very helpful initially and I felt I could trust him when it came to making purchases. When it came to selling to him it was a completely different experience. I stand corrected and felt compelled to change my review after today’s events. I was looking to sell/ trade a mix of Unc Morgan’s, Circulated CC, Early copper, and a slabbed Peace Dollar set towards a purchase I was prepared to make either way. He first priced them out and the math was wrong which I thought was an over-site. I then asked could we go over in detail so I could see what was being priced individually. Needless to say after itemized I could clearly see Ken was being dishonest. Most shops put their quotes in writing and if you frequent this establishment I suggest you request this. I was genuinely disappointed today with the choices Ken made as a businessman. I have been a loyal customer and it meant nothing to him. When I confronted Ken about what he was trying to get away with he literally said nothing. I recommend you do your due diligence, always get another quote from a reputable professional wether buying or selling. This will ensure your not being taken advantage of like I almost was today. Kens lack of integrity and dishonesty does a disservice to all trust worthy professionals dealing in numismatics & bullion.

The man I dealt with was the most disrespectful businessman I have ever encountered. I took in some coins and as I told him I would not have been offended by his low ball ridiculous offer if he had taken the time to even see what I had, the coins were loose and some were covered by other coins on the counter...he made an offer of 3 bucks without looking...1. I had 5 of those coins and a bill appraised 2 years ago ranging from 40 to 700 bucks not for all but for individual coins, secondly he had 2 coins identical to one I have in the same condition as mine and the cheapest he had was 28 bucks, I'll let you decide if he was just lazy or if he was intentionally trying to rip me off...but my advice is to go elsewhere...again I would have just passed his ridiculous offer and thanked him for his time if he hadn't completely disrespected me including using some harsh language for just asking him to look at each coin but instead he wanted to argue when I pointed out just 2 that he looked at that were appraised by Hyatt in Charlotte to be worth a great deal more each than what he offered for everything I had...worst business practice I've seen in a long time...

The owner/operator acts ignorant about the products he sells. I mean come on you own a business, you are knowledgeable about your product (coins and bullion). He downtalks what you have, or says it's only 90%, seriously... He actually offered $15 under spot per oz. for what I had! A pawn shop would offer more than that. My advice, get it itemized, don't be afraid to decline his offer, and more importantly sell elsewhere.
