Have to disagree with most reviewers. I assumed I would get a fair price for what I thought was a white gold dental crown, I was told it was palladium. Wrong assumption! Spot price of that metal on 2/13/26 is $1734, the weight of the crown was 1.6g or 0.0564 oz. The wholesale price would be .0564 X $1734 = $97.8. I got $20. I understand that multiple entities must make a profit, but over 400%, that's thievery. My advise, do your homework before you do business with this outfit. By the way I rated them 2 stars and not one because the girl helping me was pleasant. Edit After Owner Explanation: I read the explanation by the owner and I'm still not satisfied that this was a fair deal. First of all the crown is over 50 years old is not a "modern crown" as stated in the explanation, and was sold to me as being white gold, so I'm assuming that it has a significant amount of gold as one of its componnents, gold being much more valuable than palladium. The owner is also applying the 60% factor twice, and not once, leaving practically nothing of the precious metal in the crown. This does not make sense to me for a device that goes in your mouth and must remain stable for many years. Those reading my review/explanation and that of the owner can reach their own conclusion. I leave the 2 star rating unchanged as a warning to others to do your homework and be informed before using this shop.

I simple called to check prices and I ask what there paying for 14 kt and 999 silver and lady says for jewelry we'd have to see it. So I say its not jewelry. And im told its 14 kt so its jewelry we'd have to see it. Anyway I simply told her its not jewelry its 14 kt I poured myself but if you not Interested that fine.

They had very good customer service and were quick and clear, explaining everything well. They offered fair prices for scrap. For silver bullion they offered me around 85% of spot, which is actually on the high end for a scrap/recycling company like this. Lower than what you would get at a good coin and bullion dealer, but raleigh does not have many and what we do have dont pay much higher. For scrap, old jewelry and things, this is the best place in the area. For bullion, if it is a smaller amount, the convenience may be worth it depending on your situation, since if you want to get prices closer to spot, there aren't many options in our area, and shipping to somewhere like new york has shipping costs and insurance costs. If you are selling scrap, old jewelery, or less than like 3000 dollars of silver or gold, it's a good, convenient option.

I had the opportunity to have met Katie as my consultant at Jewelry Recycle in Raleigh yesterday. I have never felt so comfortable with anyone in this industry. She was so professional and knowledgeable about everything I was trying to sell. She took her time with me to explain everything and did not rush me into making any decisions on selling my items.

This was an amazing experience. Penny taught me a lot of things about gold and she was amazing. She broke it down to me what my options where and she worked with me really well. 10/10 employee 10/10 experience. Would recommend 👌🏾.

I recently went to Jewel Recycle at Holly Park Shopping Center, Raleigh, to consider selling a couple items that I no longer wear. I went there because several of my friends have recycled their things and recommended Jewel Recycle for highest and most fair pricing. What a professional business. They took a lot of time with me, never rushing or impatient with my questions, and helped me understand everything about the process. I learned a lot from them and felt completely comfortable with my decision. I recommend them HIGHLY for the best place to recycle those old items we just had to have but which we no longer care for nor wear anymore. Not only is Jewel Recycle an exceptionally professional business, they are simply darn good people that I trust enough to recommend them to friends and family. I appreciate the opportunity to do business with them and will choose them again if I find something else to recycle. I do not think you can go wrong with this business. They are very knowledgeable. And, they want you to understand the process and to be comfortable with whatever decision you make. I was very comfortable there.

I highly recommend this place, Fred Young was great to work with. I walked in with my piece of silver. Had it sold within about five minutes with a check-in hand and was out the door. Great guy, great prices, and they are here to help. Definitely not looking to take advantage of you. I called the pawn shop who wanted to give me $150 and this place gave me $424.
