Great place with great staff. Very good prices on guns and ammo. And a great place to sell if you are looking to sell a firearm. Always great service and very good prices. Edit: Also, I just recently had a pistol shipped to them for a FFL transfer. It came in on afternoon I had to work that night. They worked their butts off to make sure it was ready for pickup the same day it came in so I was able to pick it up on my way to work. They truly are the best gun and pawn shop in North Carolina.

Greg and Angie at American Pawn and Gun run a great business. Whether I buy something or not, they greet me with a hello and are quick to offer answers to my questions. In fact, Greg is so honest that if you are interested in knowing more about an item, he can (and will) tell you both the positives and negatives of it! You can tell that it is not just about the sale, it is about creating a relationship and a satisifed customer, and it shows. This is a great family run business and I would highly recommend them to anyone!

I have been a customer for many years. Store is always a pleasure to browse through. I always reccomend this place for transfers and he runs some good sales from time to time as well. Store is not like a dirt bomb that most pawn shops are. This place is my goto for pawn shops. A++

Been shopping at American pawn and gun since around there start up in Monroe NC. I’ve bought several firearms and decent amount off ammo over the years. There prices are usually pretty good, and on some occasions really good. I bought a g27 used for 300$ probably one of the better deals. Greg is friendly, also his father in law is a great guy. Always a pleasure to do business with them. One of the better pawn shops in union county.

Great place, great people always conduct business with these guys. Very helpful when buying anything from guitars to guns they know their stuff. I've purchased 6 firearms with Greg helping me and he's legit knows firearms. Will recommend to any avid gun owner.

Rude staff. I waited at least five minutes without receiving so much as a hello. No one acknowledged me at all. Seemed like they were happy for me to leave. Not sure the reason but before I left I noticed everything was extremely overpriced and underwhelming. Negative stars 👎🏾 I do not go where I am unwanted!
