I took my pure gold bar(clearly labeled and from a mint) to sell to them after spending more than enough time on the PC looking it up they came to me with an offer of 1/16th what it was worth . . . He said it was a "mistake" after I showed him spot price but I'm worried it wasn't neglecence and unfortunately this was my first impression :/

I stopped in Wednesday to buy a Xbox seriesx for my son and was greeted by the store manager Kristen I do believe he was very friendly and was able to give me a great deal on one. He aslo explained the Black Friday event to me including the $20 & $25 dollar mystery present the door buster door the sale on firearms and all. Stop in on Black Friday if you want to catch some good sells.

I’m a route customer of riverside pawn shop and I walked in today on 2/9/26 and as always greeted with a smile from Crystal asking me how my day was going and as always this staff is so nice and friendly to everyone who walks through the door and I have purchased multiple firearms and tools from this location and coming back as a loyal customer and I recommend River to all my family and friends.

A wonderful store with lots of items that choose from, the team there seems to genuinely care about their job and care about the customer. You don’t get that these days. There are some new people that are in training that may not have all the information that one feels that they may need but just give them some time. 10 out of 10 I would recommend!

My husband and I have been coming into this pawn shop for about 2 years now. We have never felt so uncomfortable with our 7 year old grandson. The new manager seems decent the store has definitely cleaned up and there is one other guy that was working he is so so sweet, he was very helpful to my husband, we went into the store to purchase a gun but we ending up having to take our business elsewhere, the manager hired his girlfriend, Crystal I’m guessing from some of the other reviews, She has a disgusting horrible mouth saying things my grandson did not need to hear, I was absolutely beside myself I am 63 years old and I have never heard a woman talk and say the things she was saying, she was saying and making nasty comments to her boyfriend the manager. He was trying to be professional but it’s hard when it’s your girlfriend, that’s why it should not be allowed for a significant other to work for that store. My husband and I will no longer bring our business to the riverside pawn in Townsville and you are bound to loose customers keeping her around or allowing your management to hire their significant others to work under them they feel as though they can get away with everything and anything.

I received thorough info regarding coins I brought in. The owner took the time to test everything and give me all the info I needed to make the very best choice for myself. It was extremely helpful and sometimes that's all we need. He also helped me with an old ring I have and again, went the distance with the info and fair pricing he was willing to give . At the same time, he was training his new workers and it was so nice to see them treated with respect and giving all the info they need to succeed. The entire experience was more than worth it and I highly recommended them if you're looking for thorough info and honest and fair info. A great experience , thank you. Kindness and honesty really go a long way these days !!
